Compact powder has always been one of the essential items in my makeup bag as I have oily skin (especially T-zone!).  I always use compact powder to set my foundation. I am not a brand loyal when it comes to compact. I had tried few other brands but every time I found myself heading back to Lakme due to the fact that their shade matches my skin tone perfectly. Today I am going to share my experience with Lakme Perfect Radiance Multi Mineral Skin Lightening Compact.

Lakme Perfect Radiance Multi Mineral Skin Lightening Compact comes in a beautiful sturdy compact with a pink colored base and a white flip top cap. The lid firmly closes when not in use and can be easily carried around in a makeup bag. The compact contains a built in mirror, which is very handy while travelling, and an applicator sponge. The sponge is soft and small but does the job. There is also a small thin plastic protective cover for the compact powder.  I find the packaging very pretty and feminine.

The compact powder comes in 6 different shades namely Ivory Fair 01, Rose Fair 02, Golden Medium 03, Rose Medium 04, Beige Honey 05 and Rose Honey 06. I have the lightest shade ‘Ivory beige 01’ which has yellow undertones to it and matches my skin tone well.

The texture of the powder is very soft and fine. It applies really smoothly and evenly with a single application. It blends across my skin perfectly without giving me a patchy or cakey look. It provides light to medium coverage. It lightens up my blemishes well but mind you it could not be used as an alternative to a concealor. It is lightweight and I do not feel if I have any powder on. It has mild fragrance which disappears as soon as it is applied on the face. After applying this, my skin feels soft, smooth, natural and radiant.

Although the compact does not contain any shimmers but I love the way it gives glowy look to my skin. I prefer dewy look as opposed to matte. The compact is oil free and keeps oil at bay for a good 4-5 hours after application. It gives my skin an even and flawless finish. The powder can be easily removed from the skin and does not break it out. Since it is oil free compact I feel it might not suit people with extremely dry skin.

Overall Thoughts:

Lakme Perfect Radiance Multi Mineral Skin Lightening Compact comes in an attractive pink and white packaging which is travel friendly. It has soft and smooth texture and blends effortlessly. It has light to medium coverage and lightens up my blemishes well. It is oil free and keeps oil at bay for a good 4-5 hours. It makes my skin feel soft, smooth and radiant. It provides an even and flawless finish. I shall definitely recommend it to everyone but if you have extremely dry skin you may give it a pass.
