Elle 18 Nail Pops Shade ‘18’ Review & NOTD

Elle 18 Nail Pops have always been my favorite. They have a wide range of funky shades and are easy on the pocket. They have all the shades that I can use for my nail arts. I had always loved it when I was a college going girl. I was in search of a gold shade for a long time and my eyes fell on this shade which appears to be quite unique. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Elle 18 Nail Pops in shade ‘18’.

Elle 18 Nail Pops comes in a cute, round and sturdy glass bottle with a black, glossy screw top lid. I love the girly design on the lid of the nail paint. The brush applicator is of a fairly good size with good quality bristles. It makes application of the nail polish quite easy.

The consistency of the nail polish is neither very thick nor very runny. It applies smoothly over the nails without streaking. The color pay off is pretty average and applies quite sheer in a single coat. It delivers a decent coverage in 2 coats and an opaque coverage in 3 coats. The scent of the nail varnish is a bit strong but vanishes away when the nail polish gets dry. It takes about 3-4 minutes for the nail polish to dry completely. With 3 coats the polish lasts long and makes the color more vivid when compared to just 2 coats. The polish lasts for about 4-5 days on my nails before showing signs of wear. It is easy to remove and doesn't stain my nails.

Shade ‘18’ is a beautiful yellowish gold color with a metallic finish. Since it is a light colored nail polish, I don’t feel the need to apply a base coat. The shade is great for both work and formal occasions  It would look flattering on fair to medium skin tones.

The varnish applies smoothly across the nails without being streaky. The color pay off is pretty average. It applies quite sheer in a single coat and requires 3 coats to get an opaque coverage. The nail paint lasts for around 4-5 days without chipping. It is easy to remove and doesn't stain my nails unlike few other nail paints. I shall definitely recommend it to everyone.
