I love using conditioners. They make my hair super silky, soft and shiny. My only grumble with the conditioner is that you have to leave it in your hair for at least 3 minutes doing nothing in your bathroom. One my friends suggested me to read magazines (Oh come on how could one read a magazine in a bathroom especially when you are completely wet!! :P). Today I am going to discuss my experience with Dove Damage Solutions Split End Rescue Conditioner.

Dove Split End Rescue Conditioner comes in a pearly white sturdy plastic tube with the same colored flip top lid. The packaging is very appealing and soothing to the eyes. The lid is quite tight and the tube can be carried around in a hand bag without any fear of leakage or spillage. The conditioner is white in color with a delightful smell.

The texture of the conditioner is rich and creamy with a good consistency. I take a small blob of conditioner and apply it to the length of my hair. It applies easily and spreads effortlessly over my hair. The nice aroma does tend to intensify during the application. I leave the conditioner for about 2-3 minutes to get the most benefit out of it before rinsing. It is easily rinsed away without leaving any sticky residue feeling behind. It leaves my hair soft, silky smooth and shiny. I always make sure to use it with Dove Split End Rescue Shampoo (Read review here!) to achieve optimal results. My hair feels super silky to the touch. The conditioner has greatly improved the texture of my hair making them less prone to breakage specially while combing. The scent lingers with me for at least two days. The ends of my hair which are prone to dryness and roughness also feel soft, manageable and tangle free. I am able to brush my hair with great ease with absolutely no tangles. I really love the way it imparts softness and shine to my hair.

Now coming to the split ends part. With regular usage of Dove Split End Rescue shampoo and conditioner, I have noticed visibly less split ends. The shampoo and conditioner stick the split ends and makes them less visible. As I had already mentioned in Dove Split End Rescue Shampoo, the result are temporary. It does only the sticking part and once you stop using it, the split ends are again visible. So to get rid of split ends, the only solution is to get your hair trimmed. Since I apply the conditioner only on the lengths of the hair, I am not sure if it makes hair greasy or weighs them down when applied onto the roots.

Dove Split End Rescue Conditioner is a white creamy consistency conditioner with a delightful smell. It applies smoothly and coats all hair well. It makes hair sift, silky, smooth, tangle free and imparts a healthy shine to it. It makes the split ends visibly less by sticking them. My hair is less prone to breakage after using this conditioner. I shall definitely recommend it to everyone.
