I am blessed with soft and silky hair (I still find them unmanageable :( ) and I really don’t have any favorite shampoo or conditioner (Read I love trying new brands :) ). With the change in seasons, my hair seems to be quite frizzy and I was on a lookout for a good conditioner. I really get tensed when anything happens to my hair or skin. I bought TRESemme Smooth & Shine Shampoo (Read my review here) along with this conditioner especially after reading 'Smooth & Shine' on the bottle. Today I am going to share my experience with TRESemme Smooth & Shine Conditioner.

TRESemme Smooth and Shine conditioner comes in a sturdy, white plastic bottle with a ‘press to open’ cap. I find the cap very convenient and easy to use as opposed to flip open lid. You just need to press the lid where ‘press’ is mentioned and a small hole pops open from where the conditioner will come out. The packaging is travel friendly and it can be carried around in a bag without any fear of leakage or spillage. The conditioner is white in color.

The texture of the conditioner is soft and smooth with slightly thick consistency. I take a coin sized amount of conditioner and apply it to the length of my hair. It gets spread easily and coats all my hair well. The smell is mild and pleasant and won’t bother sensitive noses. It reminds me of high quality salon products. I leave the conditioner for 2-3 minutes to get the most benefit out of it before rinsing. It is easily rinsed away without leaving any residue feeling behind. My hair feels extremely soft, smooth, silky and manageable. I always make sure to use it with TRESemme Smooth & Shine shampoo to achieve optimal results. 

The conditioner has greatly improved the texture of my hair making them less prone to breakage specially while combing. The scent lingers with me for quite a few hours (I don’t like fragranced hair products!). The ends of my hair which are prone to dryness also feel soft and tangle free. I really love the way it imparts softness and shine to my hair. Since I apply the conditioner only on the lengths of the hair, I am not sure if it makes hair greasy or weigh them down when applied onto the roots.

• Doesn’t leave greasy residue behind.
• Contains Vit H and silk protein.

CONS:
• If you have extremely frizzy hair then it might not work for you.
• Contains paraben and mineral oil.

Overall Thoughts:

TRESemme Smooth & Shine conditioner is a white and thick consistency conditioner with a mild and luxurious smell. It applies smoothly and coats all hair well. It rinses away easily without leaving any greasy residue behind. It makes my hair soft, smooth and manageable. It imparts a healthy shine to my hair. My hair is less prone to breakage after using it. I shall definitely recommend it to everyone.
