I have always been impressed by the collections of mirrors Faces store has. I really wanted to buy few of them but my pocket didn't allow me. Ok by now you might have got that I was waiting for discounts. Yay I got this mirror in discounts. Magnifying mirrors are very helpful when you do your makeup. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Danielle 2 sided Hand Held mirror.

The packaging of the mirror is a bit disappointing. It comes packed in a bubble wrapper with a small tag that depicts magnification and price (I actually lost the tag!). I do expect a box from the company to keep it safe and secured. The handle of the mirror is made of sturdy plastic and the mirror can be easily carried around in a large hand bag. But you will have to make sure to carry it in a bubble wrapper to prevent it from breaking or cracking. Since it is not compact, it cannot be carried in your makeup bag. The mirror is quite attractive to look at and is lightweight. It is round in shape and has two faces. It consists of a plain mirror at one side, which is just like a normal mirror, and 2x magnifying mirror on the other side.

As the mirror is a hand held one, I use it for applying foundation, compact, concealing, eye makeup and lip makeup. It doesn't feel heavy in my hands. I use the plain mirror for applying foundation, compact, blush and highlighter. Since the magnifying mirror shows each and every flaw of my skin, I keep it for eye looks, lip makeup, conceal blemishes and to pluck the eye brows well without any miss. The magnifying mirror does its job well and makes it easier to do your work accurately. It is really helpful when I apply eye liner and mascara. You would have to make sure to keep it close to your face for a clear view else it would look blurred and hazy.

• Sturdy and lightweight.
• It has two faces.
• The normal mirror is great for applying makeup and other skin care products.
• The 2x magnifying mirror is perfect for doing eye and lip makeup.
• You can pluck your eye brows without missing any stray hair.
• Wide range of mirrors available.

CONS:
• Available only at Faces store in India.
• Expensive.
• I wish the company provides a box with the mirror.

Overall Thoughts:

Danielle 2 sided hand held mirror consists of two faces- a plain mirror and a 2x magnifying mirror. It is quite sturdy and can be carried around in a hand bag. The plain mirror is great for skin care routine and for face makeup. The magnifying mirror is perfect for applying liner, mascara, lipstick, lip liner and plucking eye brows without leaving small hair. My only grumble with the mirror is its packaging. I got my mirror in a bubble wrapper which I feel is not safe and secured. Overall I am quite happy with the mirror and would definitely recommend it to everyone.
