Elle 18 Eye Sparklers Silver Spark Review, Swatches & EOTD

I was on a look out for a silver eye shadow for the inner corner of my eyes. I really didn't want to spend much as I am still a newbie when it comes to eye makeup. I think every girl should have at least one silver eye shadow or liner in her vanity (It really makes a difference!). So when I saw this eye sparkler from Elle 18, I immediately got it for me. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Elle 18 Eye Sparkler in 'Silver Spark'.

The texture of the eye sparkler is soft and smooth. It glides and blends effortlessly on my lids without tugging the skin. The eye sparkler can be used as an eye liner, eye shadow and for the inner corners of the eyes. I mostly use it for the inner corners and as an eye shadow. The eye sparkler applies neatly at the inner corner of the eyes and instantly awakens my eyes. The pigmentation is pretty good and gives a decent color in just few swipes. I had already mentioned in Elle 18 Eye Sparkler 'Gun Powder' review that it creases a lot when used as an eye shadow. To avoid it from creasing, I apply silver powder eye shadow over it and this way it stays on my eyes for a long time without creasing. It stays put on my oily lids for a good 4-5 hours without creasing or smudging. It is not a water proof and can be removed easily with an eye makeup remover. It doesn’t cause any adverse effects to my eyes and thus would suit sensitive eyes as well. The tip of the pencil wears off quickly due to its soft texture. It is easy to sharpen the product but it loses its shape at its tip. It doesn’t give precise application when the pencil is not sharpened.

'Silver Spark' is a beautiful metallic silver color with a nice sheen. It can be used as an eye liner, eye shadow or for the inner corners of the eyes. You can mix and match it with other bright eye shadow to create a glam look. I prefer using this pencil on night outs or in parties.  It instantly brightens up my eyes and makes me look awake. It looks beautiful on all eye colors and skin tones.

Overall thoughts:

Elle 18 Eye Sparkler 'Silver Spark' is a gorgeous silver color with a metallic sheen. It has creamy and smooth texture and applies smoothly over the lids. It is well pigmented and gives decent color in few swipes. It blends pretty well. It can be used as an eye shadow, eye liner and for the inner corner of the eyes. Since it is quite creamy, it creases badly so I make sure to use a powder eye shadow over it. If you are fond of silver shade and don’t want to burn a hole in your pocket, you can definitely try out this pencil!
