Lotus Herbals had recently announced the launch of five shades on Mother’s day. The shades are perfect for summers and spring and I really wanted to try my hands on them. I was on cloud nine when I got my hands on them. Did I tell you this is the first time I have tried Lotus Herbals Nail Enamels? ;) Today I am going to discuss my experience with Lotus Herbals Colour Dew Nail Enamel in Fairy Flare.

Lotus Herbals Colour Dew Nail Enamel comes in a long, sleek glass bottle with an elongated grey chrome finish screw top lid. The packaging is unique and classic and really stands out among nail paints from other brands. The lid enables a perfect grasp when applying to the nails. The brush applicator of the nail paint is a bit large and allows smooth application without brushing along the skin. The nail paint does not have an overly scent unlike few other nail paints. The shade name and number are mentioned on a sticker at the top of the lid.
The consistency of the nail polish is quite good. It is neither very runny nor too thick. It glides on easily and applies smoothly without being streaky. The color payoff is pretty good and it gives opaque coverage in just one coat. I have the habit of applying two coats for the polish to long last. The color looks exactly the same as it looks in the bottle. The nail paint dries off quickly with one coat but takes few minutes with second coat (That does not mean you have to wait for ages ;)). It provides a beautiful creamy, glossy finish. It lasts for a good 3-4 days on my nails before showing signs of wear (Mind you I don’t do household chores!). It retains shine even after few days of application and doesn’t get dull. It is easy to remove and does not stain my nails.
'Fairy Flare' is a beautiful and bright coral-ish pink color with a creamy and glossy finish. It does not have any sign of glitter or metallic hues to it. As the shade looks quite bright, I don’t think it would be suitable for office wear. It would look fabulous on all skin tones. It is a perfect shade for summers and springs.

Overall Thoughts:
Lotus Herbals Colour Dew Nail Enamel in Fairy Flare is a great addition to my nail paint collection. It applies smoothly without being streaky and gives opaque coverage in a single coat. It lasts for a good 3-4 days without chipping. It dries quickly with a single coat but takes few minutes with second coat. Fairy flare is a lovely color and would suit all skin tones. I shall definitely recommend it to everyone.
