Colorbar Velvet Matte Lipstick ‘Peach Crush 59P’ Review & Swatches

I am the kind of person who is more into neutrals when it comes to lipsticks. Although I love buying bright shades but I hardly wear them. I have seen so many girls (especially our own Tejinder di! Sometimes I wonder how could a person looks good in all colors!) who can carry all bright shades pretty well without being OTT. I love the shades Colorbar has in their velvet range. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Colorbar Velvet Matte lipstick in Peach Crush.

Colorbar says-
For a rich lip color with a creamy shine, the Velvet Matte Lipstick, available in 45 stunning shades infuse the lips with vibrancy. Its unique 2-in-1 formulation gives the lips a creamy, yet matte finish. A one of a kind product in India, it has super softening agents that give the lips a soft and supple appearance while keep them nourished with Vitamin E. Staying on up to 5 hours on application, the Velvet Matte Lipstick can be further accentuated with lip gloss and lip liner.

I had already reviewed Colorbar Velvet Matte Lipstick in Shy Cherry in detail here. Refer that post for more details regarding packaging, formula, pigmentation and staying power.

'Peach Crush' is a bright coral-ish peachy pink color with a matte finish. Although the shade looks coral-ish pink on my arms, it looks pink on my lips. I think it looks differently on different skin tones. It looks pretty when blotted and reapplied for a vibrant yet feminine look. Although it is bright shade, it isn't too dramatic and can be worn at any time of the day. You can always wear it in evening parties by topping it up with a gloss for a bold look. I tone down the rest of makeup whenever I wear this shade. It would look great on all skin tones.

Colorbar Velvet Matte Lipstick in Peach Crush is a bright and beautiful coral-ish peachy pink color with a matte finish. It glides smoothly on my lips without bleeding or feathering. The pigmentation and longevity are pretty superb. I have added 5 shades from this range in my lipstick collection due to its texture and superb pigmentation. If you are fond of bright shades then I would definitely recommend this shade to you.

  8. It's a gorgeous shade Megha and I am sure it looks very hot on you. Would have loved to see it on your lips. I had tried colorbar years ago when it was launched. I have heard a lot about the Velvette Matte range but afraid to use as Colorbar chaps my lips.
