I was on a look out for an oil control cleanser for a long time (I have the worst kind of skin -sensitive, oily and acne prone skin!). I had used Cipla Saslic Foaming Face Wash for a long time but I feel it makes my skin a bit dry after wash. While I was strolling in the skincare section of Faces, this oil control foaming cleanser caught my eye. The SA there told me it is one of the mild and effective face cleansers that would keep oil at bay for a long time. I saw the ingredients at the back of the bottle and was quite impressed. So I finally got it for myself. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Faces Canada Oil Control Foaming Cleanser.

Faces Canada Oil Control Foaming Cleanser comes sealed in a plastic wrapper to ensure that the product has not been opened or used. The actual product comes in a semi transparent, thick plastic pump dispenser bottle with a clear tight fitted pull off lid. The packaging is quite simplistic yet attractive and soothing. The liquid inside the bottle is light green in color and transforms into foam as soon as it is dispensed through pump dispenser mechanism. The bottle is quite sturdy and can be easily carried around in a bag. The smell of the cleanser is very mild and is noticeable only when you sniff it closely.

The texture of the cleanser is very soft, smooth and gentle. The pump dispenser is easy to use and the product is dispensed onto my hands without any effort. I just need one pump for my whole face and neck. It spreads easily and the foam feels gentle and soft on my skin. It produces gentle lather to ensure that my skin is cleansed thoroughly. It contains all good ingredients meant for oily, acne prone skin- Salicylic acid, Witch hazel, Vitamin E and C. It doesn't cause any tingling sensation to my skin. My skin feels soft, smooth, radiant and squeaky clean. It removes all dirt and grime off my face. It does remove non waterproof makeup but fails to remove heavy and waterproof makeup properly. I usually use Cetaphil Cleanser to remove all my makeup and then follow it up with this foaming cleanser. Faces Canada Oil Control Foaming Cleanser keeps oil at bay for a good 5-6 hours. It prevents new acne from occurring and helps in lightening blemishes with regular usage. It doesn't cause any adverse effect to my skin. It has become my HG face cleanser and I am loving it to the core.

Overall Thoughts:

I am highly impressed with Faces Canada Oil Control Foaming Cleanser. I have noticed a marked improvement in my skin since the time I am using this product. It helps in controlling oil, prevents pimples and acne and reduces blemishes. My skin looks healthy and radiant after every usage. I shall definitely recommend it to everyone with oily skin as a result of my positive experience.
