After using colored eye liners, I almost forget to use my black liners. No doubt black is the only color that can instantly brighten up your tired eyes and makes them look glam and attractive. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Faces Canada Beyond Black Long Stay Liquid Eye Liner.

Faces Canada Beyond Black Long Stay Liquid Eye Liner comes in an opaque black plastic bottle with a long tapered black handle. The packaging looks attractive and classy and reminds me of Lakme Fantasy Shimmer Liners. The lid of the liner is very comfortable and easy to hold. It unscrews easily to reveal a fine brush that is tightly compacted just like a felt tip for making fine, précised lines. The packaging of the liner is quite light and can be easily carried around in a makeup bag.

The texture of the liner is smooth with a good consistency. It is easy to dip the brush into the bottle and the liner adheres itself to the brush. There is no need to wipe of excess liner on the top of the bottle. The liner glides easily and smoothly along my lash line. Due to its fine, felt tip like brush, it is easy to make fine precise lines and bold, dramatic lines. The liner does not show any signs of smudging and feathering. It is quick drying and I don’t have to wait for ages to apply mascara. The pigmentation is quite good and gives true and solid color in two swipes. It is easy to create winged out, curved, flicked or straight lines effortlessly with this liner. It feels quite light on my eyes.

The staying power of the liner is pretty awesome. It stays perfectly intact on my slightly oily lid for the whole day without smudging. I have not suffered any adverse effect whilst using this liner. Although the company has not claimed it to be a waterproof liner but it does not comes off easily with water. I do need a good eye makeup remover to remove it.

Beyond black is a true black color with a glossy finish. It makes my eyes stand out and is definitely noticeable and gorgeous.  It would look flattering on all skin tones.

Overall Thoughts:

Faces Canada Beyond Black Long Stay Liquid Eye Liner is a great eye liner with awesome pigmentation and staying power. Although it is bit pricey and it delivers what it claims. It applies smoothly and easily due to its tight compacted brush without smudging. It definitely receives my full recommendation.
