I always look for soft and smooth texture whenever I purchase pressed powders, eye shadows, blushes, bronzers and foundations. It makes the blending task super easy and looks smooth without being cakey. I had previously bought Faces Minerals Pressed Powder but was not satisfied with its texture though it lasted on my oily skin the whole day. Today I am going to share my experience with Faces Canada Silken Finish Pressed Powder that I bought recently from Faces Store.

Faces Canada Silken Finish Pressed Powder comes in a black cardboard box packaging. The actual product comes in a round, dark steel grey metallic compact with a flip open lid. There is a small mirror inside that I find pretty useless as it shows slight blurred appearance. Nevertheless built in mirror comes handy while traveling. A soft applicator sponge is included in the compact that is soft and easy to hold. There is also a small thin plastic protective cover for the compact powder. The packaging is classy and elegant.

The texture of the pressed powder is soft and smooth. It applies smoothly and feels light weight on my skin. It blends effortlessly without getting patchy or cake-y. It provides medium coverage. It lightens up my blemishes but it cannot be used as an alternative to concealer. I usually apply powder over foundation and it offers a silky finish giving my skin a natural, flawless appearance. The pressed powder keeps my skin oil free for a good 8-9 hours without making my oily skin look all the more oily and dull. The powder can be easily removed from the skin and does not break it out. It comes in 5 different shades. I chose Gold for me as it has yellow undertones to it and matches my skin tone perfectly.

It provides medium coverage and hides minor blemishes well. The staying power is amazing. It keeps oil at bay for a good 8-9 hours. I have been thoroughly impressed with the quality of this pressed powder and would happily recommend it to everyone.
