TRESemme Hair Fall Control Shampoo Review

TRESemme has proved a super duper hit shampoo for my soft, silky and wavy hair (with oily scalp!). I actually get bored of using the same shampoo so I thought of trying hair fall defense range from TRESemme. Today I am going to discuss my experience with TRESemme Hair Fall Control Shampoo.

TRESemme Hair Fall Control shampoo comes in a sturdy, matte black plastic bottle with a ‘press to open’ cap. I find the cap very convenient and easy to use as opposed to flip open lid. You just need to press the lid where ‘press’ is mentioned and a small hole pops open from where the shampoo gets dispensed. The packaging is travel friendly and it can be carried around in a bag without any fear of leakage or spillage. I find the packaging same as TRESemme Smooth and Shine Shampoo and Climate Control shampoo. 

The shampoo is pearly white in color with a perfect consistency. It is neither very runny nor very thick. The smell of the shampoo is amazing. It is mild and subtle and reminds me of high quality hair salon products. It has very fine shimmers in it but they are noticeable only when you look closely. Instead of applying shampoo directly to my hair, I make sure to dilute it with water. The shampoo is easily applied and gets spread to my medium length hair. It creates a rich lather with only a small amount of the shampoo. It feels really luxurious as you massage this into your hair. The nice aroma doesn't tend to intensify and remains subtle and pleasant which I like. After using this shampoo, my hair feels soft, smooth, and manageable with a healthy shine. I feel it gives a nice volume to my hair. It is easily rinsed away and doesn't leave any greasy residue behind. It cleanses my scalp thoroughly and effectively even if I have applied oil. It helps in reducing frizz to a great extent but I always make sure to follow it up with a good conditioner to achieve maximum results. The ends of my hair, which are prone to dryness, also feel soft and tangle free. Since it controls frizziness, my hair is less prone to breakage. The scent lingers with me for quite a few hours. I find Hair Fall Defense shampoo same as Climate control shampoo (Review here). It makes my hair softer and healthier looking. My cousin has extremely dry hair and she said it dries out her hair a bit. She finds TRESemme Smooth and Shine range (Read review here) perfect for her hair.

Overall Thoughts:

Overall I am really happy with TRESemme Hair Fall Control Shampoo. It is a pleasant to use, makes my hair soft, smooth and imparts healthy shine to it. It cleanses the hair well and controls frizz making my hair less prone to breakage. I shall definitely recommend it to people with normal to oily hair.
