Lakme Absolute Bi Phased Makeup Remover Review
Although I am a huge lazy bum but I never forget to remove my makeup. Removing makeup not only makes my skin clean but also light. I had previously used Aloe Veda Liquorice & Ginger Gentle Cleansing Milk that I really like a lot but it failed in removing waterproof makeup. I was searching for a good makeup remover that could remove waterproof makeup and I landed on Lakme Makeup Remover. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Lakme Bi Phased Makeup Remover. It is priced at Rs 225 and you can buy online HERE.

Lakme Bi Phased Makeup Remover comes in a sturdy, clear plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The pump dispenses the right amount of remover and does not lead to wastage. The packaging looks classy and attractive. It is light and can be easily carried around in bag without any fear of leakage or spillage. The makeup remover has liquid consistency. It has two separate layers of oil and water. In order to use the remover, you simply need to shake it well. The liquid goes frothy and is ready to use. The scent is very similar to rose water and feels really refreshing.

The makeup remover is colorless. It is meant to be used on face, eyes and lips. I simply pump four to five times on my cotton ball and swipe it across my face. It feels cool and refreshing. It removes all dirt, grime, oil and makeup off my face. I feel really glad that it removes my waterproof makeup effectively without leaving a speck behind. The makeup remover leaves slightly oily residue behind and I always make sure to wash it off with a face wash to get squeaky clean skin. My skin feels soft and radiant. It does not break out my skin and is great for people with sensitive skin.

Removing eye makeup is pretty simple. I simply hold the cotton ball soaked in makeup remover onto my eye lids and lashes for few seconds. The makeup starts melting and it really becomes easy to remove all eye makeup with few wipes. The makeup remover removes all my mascara with few wipes without leaving smears behind. I also use it to remove my kajal on waterline. It does not sting my eyes and thus is safe for contact lens wearers as well. It does not leave oily residue onto my lids and I simply splash water onto my lids to get clean feeling.

The makeup remover can be used for lips too. It takes off all kind of dark shades and lip glosses without leaving any stains behind though it takes few more swipes to remove dark shades. It makes my lips a bit dry and I do feel the need to moisturize my lips using a lip balm.

  19. Have been hearing good things about it since it came in the market. But being an oily sensitive skinned girl I really like to stay away from as much harsh stuff as possible. I actually use little bit of olive oil mixed with water. Dip a cotton wool in it and swipe across the face. It works amazingly well and you can wash your face afterwards to take care of the oil and the traces of makeup left.
