Revlon Photoready BB Cream Skin Perfector Review

Revlon Photoready BB Cream Skin Perfector Review
I was really excited to try Revlon Photoready range espeically Revlon Photoready BB Cream when I saw their ads on Facebook. Although I am not so fond of BB creams after trying Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector but I loved the fact that they feel really light and are great for everyday use. Today I am going to share my review on Revlon Photoready BB Cream.

MBT says-
Revlon Photoready BB Cream comes in a slim, sturdy silver squeezable tube with a black screw top lid. The tube comes sealed with a plastic wrapper to ensure that it has not been used or opened. Upon opening the lid, you will find a nozzle with a small hole that dispenses the right amount of BB cream. There is also a small rectangular window on the tube so that the shade of the BB cream is visible. The packaging is quite light and can be easily carried around in a makeup bag without any fuss.

The texture of the Revlon Photoready BB Cream is soft and smooth with slightly thick mousse foundation like consistency. I really need to press the tube hard to get the product out for the first time. The BB cream has light and mild scent that is hardly noticeable. I simply take a small blob of BB cream and apply it like a moisturizer. It blends into my skin easily giving me an even coverage. As my skin switches to the drier side in this cold weather, I have the habit of applying moisturizer prior application. I once applied it without moisturizer and it hydrated my skin really well without accentuating the dry patches. The BB cream is non greasy and does not feel heavy. It makes my skin soft, smooth and radiant. It provides a lovely dewy look to my face (I love dewy looks!). It gives sheer coverage just like any other BB cream. It hides minor imperfections but does not cover up blemishes or pimples/ acne and I need to use a separate concealer. I can say it is pretty long lasting. My skin feels moisturized and fresh for a good 5-6 hours without making it oily or dull. This is what I love about dry skin. You do not need touch ups.

Revlon Photoready BB Cream contains SPF 30 which is an added bonus and I don’t need to use a separate sunscreen for sun protection. It looks fresh and natural and does not give a white cast to my face when photographed. It comes in three shades: light, light medium and medium. I have light medium which is a natural beige shade and matches my fair skin tone perfectly.

As the BB cream gives dewy look, I think beauties with oily skin need to top it up with a powder to combat oiliness. I am happy I got this in winters and my dry skin absolutely loves it. I don’t have visible pores on my skin but I do feel it smoothes out the small pores and makes my skin look more even. Revlon Photoready BB Cream can be easily removed using a good makeup remover. I have not faced any adverse effects whilst using it.

Overall Thoughts:
Overall I find Revlon Photoready BB Cream great for everyday use or when I hang out with my friends. I love the way it blends and gives a natural, dewy finish. It does not highlight the dry patches and moisturizes the skin well. It provides sheer coverage but if you have blemishes you would need a concealer. It stays for a long time and feels light on my skin. A BB cream that absolutely makes you photoready! I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
