Patanjali Kesh Kanti Milk Protein Shampoo Review
After reading and hearing raves about Patanjali shampoos, I rushed (not literally!) to the Patanjali stores to get a shampoo and the things I always repurchase. Patanjali has many variants of shampoos and I got Patanjali Milk Protein Shampoo for me. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Patanjali Kesh Kanti Milk Protein Hair Cleanser. Patanjali Kesh Kanti Milk Protein Shampoo comes in a sturdy, white opaque plastic bottle with a pink flip top lid. The lid seems quite fragile to me but nevertheless it is quite tight and can be easily carried around during traveling. The packaging is fairly simple yet looks nice. The shampoo is pearly white in color with a nice, pleasant fruity scent.
The texture of the shampoo is soft and smooth with a good consistency that is neither very thick nor very runny. I always make sure to dilute my shampoo to reduce the damage the chemicals may cause to the hair. The shampoo is easily applied and gets spread to my medium length hair. But I feel when I oil my hair, I need more amount of shampoo than required and need to work up a bit to create good amount of lather. The fruity scent is more apparent whilst application and I really love it. It lingers with me afterwards too. After using the shampoo, my hair feels soft, smooth and thoroughly cleansed. It gives a natural and healthy shine to my hair. It is easily rinsed away and does not leave greasy residue behind. I have the habit of applying conditioner as I have rough ends (currently using Tresemme Climate Control Conditioner!). I love the effect the shampoo gives but it makes my hair (I have dry hair with slightly oily scalp!) greasy and lank more quickly than other shampoos I use. My hair starts looking a bit less clean at the end of the following day that is really disappointing. If you wash your hair daily then you might like it as it is quite mild. I have not experienced any hair fall whilst using it. My cousin with dry and frizzy hair loves it a lot and swears by this shampoo.

PROS:
• Soft and smooth texture.
• Good consistency.
• Pleasant fruity scent.
• Easy to apply.
• Quite mild shampoo.
• My hair feels soft, smooth and clean.
• Imparts a nice shine to the hair.
• Does not leave greasy residue behind.
• Suits dry hair well.
• Reasonably priced.
• Easily available.
CONS:
• My hair feels greasy and limp at the end of following day.
• The lid is a bit fragile.
Overall Thoughts:
Patanjali Kesh Kanti Milk Protein Shampoo is great for people with really dry hair. Although it makes my hair soft, smooth and clean but it makes them greasy and limp within 2-3 days. It did not impress me at all and I would recommend it only if you wash your hair daily or you have dry hair.
