I was a huge fan of Garnier Mint Face Wash in my college days. It kept my skin clear and pimple free without drying it out. I easily get bored of same things and started using new face washes. Now when I am suffering from pimples I am again being saved by Garnier Neem Face Wash. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Garnier Pure Active Neem Face Wash.

Garnier Pure Active Neem Face Wash comes in a sturdy white squeezable plastic tube with a white screw top lid. I wonder why Garnier face washes do not come with flip open lids as they are convenient to use and do not create a mess. The packaging is fairly simple yet attractive to look at. The face wash is light yellow in color with a mix of neem and tea tree oil smell. The scent is very pleasant and instantly refreshes my senses.

The texture of the face wash is soft and smooth with gel like consistency. I take 50p sized amount of face wash for both face and neck and it creates a good amount of lather that feels really soft and nice on the skin. It gives a feeling of thorough cleansing. It washes away really quickly and does not leave greasy or sticky residue behind. My skin feels fresh, smooth and thoroughly cleansed without any tightness. It removes dirt, oil and non waterproof makeup effectively but fails in removing waterproof makeup. The lovely smell does not linger with me and fades away as soon as it is rinsed off. With the changes in weather, I now have combination skin- dry on the cheeks and oily at T zone. It does not tighten my skin and I do not feel the need to moisturise my face immediately. It does help in preventing and reducing pimples after a few day of continuous usage and keeps the skin clean and fresh. It also helps in reducing the redness caused by pimples. It contains Neem and Tea Tree Oil that are a boon for pimple prone skin. I have not faced any adverse effects whilst using it.

• Might not suit extremely dry skin.

• Does not remove waterproof makeup.

Overall Thoughts:

Overall I am enjoying using Garnier Pure Active Neem Face Wash. It cleanses my skin thoroughly without drying it out. The smell is oh-so-amazing and I love using it in the morning. The face wash helps in preventing pimples and reduces the existing ones. I would definitely recommend it to everyone who are suffering from pimple prone skin.
