Remember I did a post on my favorite Patanjali products and most of the readers adored how effective Patanjali Kesh Kanti Shampoo is. Recently I had tried Patanjali Kesh Kanti Milk protein Shampoo and it did not suit my hair. Last month on my visit to Patanjali store, I picked this Patanjali Shampoo and few other things. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Patanjali Kesh Kanti Hair Cleanser.

Patanjali Kesh Kanti Hair Cleanser comes in a light yellow sturdy plastic bottle with an orange flip top lid. The packaging is quite bright and looks lovely in my bathroom shelf. I love its unique shape. The lid is quite tight and the bottle can be easily carried in a bag without any fear of leakage or spillage. The shampoo is brownish orange in color with a prominent smell of orange.

The texture of the shampoo is soft and smooth with good consistency. It is neither very thick nor very thin. You are greeted with the orange scent as soon as it is dispensed. The scent is lively and pleasant and won’t bother sensitive noses. I always make sure to dilute my shampoo to reduce the damage the chemicals may cause to the hair. The shampoo is easily applied and gets spread to my medium length hair.  It creates good lather and the scent does not tend to intensify. It is easily rinsed away. After using the shampoo, my hair feels soft, voluminous and manageable with a healthy shine. I have soft, silky hair with dry and frizzy ends. This shampoo does not reduce frizz and I do need to use a good conditioner to avoid getting frizzy and knotty hair. It cleanses my hair thoroughly but whenever I brush my hair I could see a film or build up of residue on the teeth of the comb. The scent does not linger and fades away as soon as the shampoo is rinsed away.

• Soft and smooth texture.

• The scent is really refreshing.

• Creates good lather.

• Gives healthy shine to the hair.

• Easy to rinse off.

• Makes hair soft, voluminous and manageable.

• Cleanses the hair thoroughly.

• Travel friendly packaging.

• Easily available.

• Reasonably priced.

CONS:

• Leaves a buildup of residue.

• Does not reduce frizz. You will need a good conditioner.

Overall Thoughts:

Patanjali Kesh Kanti Hair Cleanser is an average shampoo that makes my hair soft, voluminous and manageable but it does not reduce the frizziness and adds a buildup of residue which is really annoying. Overall this shampoo does not work for me and I would not recommend it to anyone.
