I love using cute things and when I got cute soaps from Soap Opera I was like awww these are damn sweet. As I had mentioned in my earlier post that Soap Opera is an Indian skincare brand that provides non toxic, sulphate free, paraben free and non carcinogenic soaps. I had already reviewed their Lemongrass soap (Read my review HERE) which is a delight to be used in summers. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Soap Opera Clove Soap which comes in the Spice Soap range.

Soap Opera Clove Soap comes in a grey cardboard box packaging with 1/4th part of the soap being revealed from one end so that you can adore the beauty of soap from outside. The actual soap comes hygienically wrapped in a thin transparent plastic. The soap is yellow-ish orange in color with few orange patches all over the soap. It is square in shape and looks way too cute. I got the sample size but the actual soap is fairly in good size and the quality is apparent in its appearance and texture. The packaging is quite thoughtful and looks pretty.

As soon as the soap is unwrapped, you are greeted with a lovely, divine clove scent. Although I always use body scrunchie in bath or shower but I love using it on its own. It is easy to hold and feels soft and smooth on my skin. The spicy clove scent is just adorable and does not smell weird. The scent does not linger with me and vanishes away as soon as the soap is rinsed off. 

The soap thoroughly cleanses my skin removing all dirt and impurities. It is easily rinsed away and does not leave greasy or sticky residue behind. I have normal body skin with slightly dry knees and elbows. My skin feels soft, smooth and hydrated after using this soap due to the presence of olive oil in it. Although the ingredients are almost same as that of Lemongrass soap but I feel clove variant moisturizes my skin and I do not feel the need to use moisturizer. I have the habit of applying body butters or lotions so my skin usually remains hydrated. The soap does not melt or turn soggy in the soap dish due to its smooth yet solid texture. You do not need to chunk it off to pieces. The soap is extremely gentle on my skin and does not cause any irritation. My 4 year old nephew loves bathing with this soap and it has not irritated his delicate skin in any way. The 100g of soap would last pretty well. It is non toxic, paraben free, cruelty free (Being an animal lover I really appreciate it!), non carcinogenic and sulphate free and is a best bet if you have sensitive skin.

Overall Thoughts:

Soap Opera Clove Soap is a gentle soap with a wonderful, spicy scent of clove. If you are not fond spicy smell, it won’t disappoint you in any way as it is really mesmerizing. It is non toxic, paraben free, sulphate free and non carcinogenic. It cleanses my skin well without stripping off of moisture. I absolutely love this soap and would happily recommend it to everyone!
