Recently I have been using a lot of organic, sulphate free and cruelty free soaps. Soap Opera is a new brand for me and I was thrilled when I saw their soap range and other products. Soap Opera is a sister concern of Marico and has a range of non toxic personal care products under the brand Puresense. Their soaps (Floral, Spice and Exfoliating!), body washes and shampoos are sulphate free, paraben free and non carcinogenic. They also have body mists and a very special product- the sleep inducer. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Soap Opera Lemongrass Soap which comes in the Spice Soaps range.

Soap Opera Lemongrass Soap comes in a green cardboard box packaging with 1/4th part of the soap being revealed from one end so that you can adore the beauty of soap from outside. The actual soap comes hygienically wrapped in a thin transparent plastic. The soap is yellow-ish green in color with few dark green patches all over the soap. It is square in shape and looks way too cute. I got the sample size but the actual soap is fairly in good size and the quality is apparent in its appearance and texture.
As soon as the soap is unwrapped, you are greeted with a lovely, refreshing lemongrass scent. Although I always use body scrunchie in bath or shower but I love using it on its own. It is easy to hold and feels soft and smooth on my skin. It smells wonderfully and the lemongrass scent instantly awakens my senses. The scent lingers with me for a few good hours though the scent is quite subtle. I would love buying it in summers when I literally need something to refreshen me up.
The soap thoroughly cleanses my skin removing all dirt and impurities. It is easily rinsed away and does not leave greasy or sticky residue behind. I have normal body skin with slightly dry knees and elbows. My skin feels soft, smooth and hydrated after using this soap due to the presence of olive oil in it. It does not dry out the skin or make it feel tight unlike other harsh soaps. I have the habit of applying body butters or lotions so my skin usually remains hydrated. The soap does not melt or turn soggy in the soap dish due to its solid texture. You do not need to chunk it off to pieces. The soap is extremely gentle on my skin and does not cause any irritation. The 100g of soap would last pretty well. It is non toxic, paraben free, cruelty free (Being an animal lover I really appreciate it!), non carcinogenic and sulphate free and is a best bet if you have sensitive skin.

• Feels soft and nice on the skin.
• It is so pretty to look at.
• Gentle on the skin.
• Makes my skin soft, smooth and hydrated.
• Cleanses my skin well.
• Does not leave greasy residue behind.
• It is non toxic, sulpahte free, paraben free and non carcinogenic.
• Cruelty free.
• Suits all skin types.
• Does not melt.
• Reasonably priced.
• Easily available online.

Overall Thoughts:
Soap Opera Lemongrass Soap is a handmade, non toxic, sulphate free, paraben free, cruelty free and non carcinogenic soap that is mild and gentle on the skin. The lemongrass scent of the soap is refreshing and lingers mildly for few hours. It cleanses the skin thoroughly and makes it soft, smooth and hydrated. The soap does not tend to melt and looks lovely in my soap dish. I would highly recommend this soap to everyone.
