I prefer light body lotions for summers as my body skin is normal and I hate applying lotions that feels heavy and too moisturized. After trying Iraya Lavender Essential Oil, I was really impressed with the brand and was craving to try more products. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Iraya Algae Serum Body Lotion.

Iraya Algae Serum Body Lotion comes in a sturdy, clear, rectangular shaped plastic bottle with a white pump dispenser. The pump dispenser dispenses the right amount of lotion thus avoiding any wastage of the product. You just need to twist the lid to dispense the right amount of product. Although the pump dispenser does not come with a lid but I carried it in my bag many times and it does not cause any spillage or leakage. The body lotion is light green in color with a lovely, refreshing smell which instantly awakens my senses. It is quite strong at first but settles down soon and becomes more subtle. I sniffed the lotion many times but totally failed in detecting the scent.

The texture of the body lotion is soft and smooth with a pleasant consistency. It is neither very runny nor very thick. It applies effortlessly onto my skin and gets absorbed almost instantly. The lovely scent makes the application all the more wonderful. I am the kind of person who is lazy to apply body lotion especially in summers but now the day I started using this body lotion I never forget to carry it with me in the shower. The body lotion is incredibly light and melts into the skin within seconds. It leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and moisturized. The scent lingers with me the whole day which I absolutely like. It is meant for normal and dry skin but despite having normal skin I do feel the need to reapply it at the end of the day. If you have extremely dry skin then I think you need to reapply it after 6 hours or so. After applying the lotion, I do not feel the need to wash any remaining product from my hands. 

The body lotion is mild and tested for allergy. It contains aloe vera and green algae that are known for their moisturizing and detoxifying properties. It is quite light body lotion so it is not effective for eliminating any hardened skin on the undersides of the feet but it does soften them.

Overall Thoughts:

Iraya Algae Serum Body Lotion is one of the best body lotions for summers. It applies easily and gets absorbed almost instantly. It feels light on the skin and does not leave greasy residue behind. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. The smell is wonderful and lingers with me for a long time. I would happily recommend it to everyone!
