I love mint in my face packs but was totally unaware that a mint lip balm exists in the market until recently I discovered this Lotus lip balm in Fresh Mint flavor. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Lotus Herbals Lip Therapy Fresh Mint SPF15.

Lotus Herbals Lip Therapy comes sealed in a cardboard packaging to ensure that it has not been used or opened. The actual product comes in a retractable light yellow lipstick style packaging with the same colored pull off lid. The base of the tube needs to be twisted to reveal the lip balm just like you use any lipstick. It can also be twisted back to put the lip balm back in the tube. The tube is incredibly light with all the details written over it. It is functional and easy to use. The lid is quite tight and clicks conveniently without any fear of being opened in the bag. I got the flavor “Fresh Mint” which is a clear lip balm and has got the gorgeous delicate mint scent. The scent is subtle and doesn't linger around.

The lip balm is soft and smooth in texture with creamy consistency. It spreads and applies smoothly on lips without feeling heavy, greasy or waxy. It does not release clumps and feels smooth on the lips. My lips feel protected and moisturized the moment I apply it on my lips. The lip balm doesn't sit on the surface of the lips but sinks in comfortably. It makes my lips feel soft, smooth, supple and nourished instantly without leaving a sticky residue behind. It gives a nice sheen to my lips making them look pretty and healthy. It lasts for quite a long time on my lips but I have the habit of reapplying it anyway. It doesn't have a weird taste unlike other lip balms. It contains SPF 15 that helps to protect your lips from sun’s damaging rays. It heals and repairs dry and chapped lips within a week of continuous usage.

The lip balm is incredibly moisturizing due to the presence of Shea butter and Kokum butter as ingredients. It leaves my lips soft and smooth for a long time. I also love using it as a base for lipsticks with dry texture. I find it same as that of Maybelline Baby Lips but with very faint scent.

Lotus Herbals Lip Therapy Fresh Mint is one of the best lip balms I have tried. It glides smoothly and evenly on my lips making them soft, smooth and hydrated for a long time. It has a faint mint scent so if you have sensitive nose then it is for you. It heals and repairs chapped lips effectively in a short time. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!
