After trying organic soaps recently, I had kept all my shower gels aside. I loved how these soaps makes my skin soft and smooth without harming it in anyway. Recently while doing online shopping, I came across this soulflower soap that looks really pretty and soothing and I ordered it without giving a second thought. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Soulflower Rose Geranium Soap.

Soulflower Rose Geranium Soap comes in a clear plastic wrapper with a black sticker stuck on it. The sticker contains all the information about the product. The soap has an ombre effect and comes in two layers- red and light yellow. It is rectangular in shape and is of fairly good size. The quality of the soap is apparent in its texture and appearance. 

As soon as the soap is unwrapped, you are greeted with a lovely, refreshing but strong floral scent (rose scent being evident!). If you have sensitive nose then you might not like it. As it is quite a big soap, I chunk it off into two pieces. It is easy to hold then and feels soft and smooth on skin. It creates a luxurious lather and feels mild on the skin. The floral scent does not tend to intensify while bathing and remains mild and subtle. The soap thoroughly cleanses my skin removing all dirt and impurities. It is easily rinsed away and does not leave greasy or sticky residue behind. I have normal body skin with slightly dry knees and elbows. My skin feels soft, smooth and clean after using this soap. It does not dry out the skin or make it feel tight unlike other harsh soaps. I had also used it on my sensitive, oily and acne prone facial skin and it worked well in controlling sebum production. The fragrance fades away as soon the soap is rinsed off. I have the habit of applying body butters or lotions so my skin usually remains hydrated. I had used it in winters also but it made my dry skin all the more dry so I saved it for summers. The soap does not melt or turn soggy in the soap dish. The soap is extremely gentle on my skin and does not cause any irritation. The 150g of soap lasts pretty well. It is 100% vegan and organic. Did I tell you this soap turned my bathroom into a rose heaven?  

The soap contains all good ingredients. Rosehip essential oil is useful in keeping skin smooth and reduces fine lines. Rose helps in revivng dull and oily skin. Geranium oil is great for oily acne prone skin and helps in controlling sebum production.

Overall Thoughts:

Soulflower Rose Geranium Soap is a lovely fragranced soap that makes skin soft and smooth. It cleanses my skin thoroughly without drying it out. It contains various essentials oils and is purely organic. If you are fond of fragranced bathing products then I would firmly recommend it to you!
