You might know by now that I have been more into natural and organic products from the last few months. Natural products are not only harmless but they improve the condition of the skin a lot. Living Nature is New Zealand’s original certified natural skincare and cosmetics brand. Recently the brand launched new Lip Hydrator that is pure and contains no chemicals (Isn’t it really cool and thoughtful?). Today I am going to review Living Nature Lip Hydrator.

Living Nature Lip Hydrator comes packed in a black cardboard box packaging that is recyclable. The actual product comes in a retractable soft, velvet-y black lipstick type packaging with the same colored pull off lid. It is the best and luxurious packaging I have seen in a lip balm. The base of the tube needs to be twisted to reveal the lip balm just like you use any lipstick. It can also be twisted back to put the lip balm back in the tube. The tube is incredibly light and looks luxurious on my vanity table and of course in my bag. It is functional and easy to use. The lid is quite tight and clicks conveniently without any fear of being opened in the bag. I totally loved the logo of the brand at the top of the lid that makes the packaging all the more pretty. 

As soon as you open the lid, you will be greeted with a dome shaped light yellow lip balm bullet. The design of the lip balm is very unique and allows you to apply it even at the corners of the lips without any bleeding. It is a clear lip balm and is fragrance free. I am the kind of person who dislikes fragrance in skincare and lip products. Living Nature Lip Hydrator instantly impressed me by its pureness. 

The lip balm is soft and smooth in texture with creamy consistency. It spreads and applies smoothly on lips without feeling heavy, greasy or waxy. It does not release clumps and feels soft and smooth on the lips. My lips feel protected and moisturized the moment I apply it on my lips. The lip balm doesn't sit on the surface of the lips but sinks in comfortably. It makes my lips feel soft, smooth, supple and nourished instantly as it contains moisture affecting anti-microbial Active Manuka Honey. It gives a nice sheen to my lips making them look pretty and healthy. It lasts for quite a long time on my lips but I have the habit of reapplying it anyway. It doesn't have a weird taste unlike other lip balms. I love using it as a base for lipsticks as it gets absorbed almost instantly and I don’t have to wait for ages. It heals and repairs dry and chapped lips within a week of continuous usage. I was suffering from dry lips due to the less intake of water and my lips instantly felt relieved with just one usage. I apply it at night before hitting the bed and wake up with healthy and conditioned lips. I love carrying it in my bag and it definitely makes heads turn due to its gorgeous and elegant packaging.

Overall Thoughts:

Living Nature Lip Hydrator is a fantastic lip protector that keeps my lips soft, smooth and super hydrated for a long time. It has certified organic ingredients and does not contain fragrance. I love using it as a base for lipstick and my lips remain hydrated the whole day no matter which texture of lipstick I use. Though it is a bit pricey but then you are getting a natural product that works wonderfully. I would highly recommend it to everyone!
