Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer Review
I really get excited and want to lay my hands on anything that says ‘Photoready’, ‘Photofinish’ or any kind of photo something written on the packaging. Being an oily skinned girl, I always make sure to apply primer for my makeup to last long. When I saw Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer from Revlon Photoready range, I instantly added it in my vanity. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer.

Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer comes in a small, thick, sturdy glass bottle with a black pump dispenser. The dispenser is covered with a clear plastic lid. The packaging comes sealed with a plastic wrapper to ensure that the product has not been opened or used. The pump dispenser dispenses the right amount of primer and does not lead to any kind of wastage. The primer is creamy white in color with a hint of pink in it.
The texture of the primer is very soft and smooth with creamy consistency. The scent is very mild and hardly detectable. Before using the primer, I always make sure to moisturize my face with a moisturizer and let it soak it into my skin for few minutes. I then press the pump dispenser once on the back of my hands and it releases a bit larger than pea sized amount that is actually enough for both face and neck. I have been using it for more than 4 months and the bottle is still not on half way.
The primer can be worn alone or under foundation. I simply apply the primer on my moisturized skin using my fingertips. It is easy to apply and feels really smooth on skin. You can instantly feel the difference in softness to the skin. It does create a perfect canvas to your makeup. I do not have visible pores but after using this primer I feel my skin looks more soft, smooth and supple. I do have few blemishes and it smoothens out the skin really well. It does not leave any sticky feeling behind. I then wait for 5 minutes before applying foundation. I usually apply the foundation with a makeup brush and it applies easily and blends in quickly without any patches. My skin looks soft, smooth, flawless and healthy. My makeup stays put very well throughout the day without wearing off. As I have oily skin especially T-zone I always make sure to set it up with a powder. In winters when my skin gets dry, I avoid using powder on my skin and this primer gives a lovely dewy look to my face. The primer gives a healthy, radiant look to my skin as opposed to a matte look which I am generally not fond of.
My only grumble with the primer is that the clear lid tends to get loose and I really did not find it convenient to carry it in my bag. Though the primer does not get spilled or cause leakage but it gets hardened in the mouth of nozzle and releases hard and dry blob in the middle of the freshly pumped primer. But since it delivers such amazing effects this con can surely be overlooked.
Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer comes in only one shade and would suit all skin types and skin tones.
