Though I am not a huge fan of shimmers in makeup (though I like shimmery eye shadows!) but love them in nail paints. They instantly make my hands look classy and elegant. I always have a soft corner for blue things (No dirty minds please :P) and when I saw this light blue nail paint on Born Pretty Store I so want it. Today I am going to review Born Pretty Store Youthful Light Blue Nail Polish.

Born Pretty Store Youthful Light Blue Nail Polish comes in a sturdy, clear and heavy glass bottle with a metallic finish screw top lid. The packaging is really pretty and elegant to look at. The brush applicator is of fairly good size with good quality bristles. It makes application of the polish quite easy without brushing along the skin. 

The consistency of the nail lacquer is pretty good. It is neither very thick nor very runny. It applies smoothly over my nails without streaking. The pigmentation is pretty amazing. It delivers good coverage with a single coat and I don’t need to apply coat after coat to get that perfect color (I have the habit of applying two coats anyway. It gives a lovely rich color with two coats.). It dries pretty quickly ready to be finished with a top coat. The polish lasts for only 2-3 days without chipping (I don’t do household chores though!). The color does not dull down even after 4 days which actually impressed me a lot. It is easy to remove and does not stain my nails.

The shade number 14 is a gorgeous light blue color with lots of silver shimmers infused in it. It definitely looks classy and elegant on my nails. The shimmers are really fine and just add dimensions to create depth and uniqueness. It is one of the BEST BLUE NAIL POLISH I have come across. It looks beautiful on nails and in the bottle. It provides a lovely metallic finish and is a true soft color. It is a perfect shade for autumn or holiday season and would look flattering on all skin tones. It definitely makes my hands look bright, classy and noticeable. I really got so many compliments when I wore this shade.

Overall Thoughts:

Overall I am really impressed with Born Pretty Store Youthful Light Blue Nail Polish. It has superb pigmentation and does not apply streaky. The light blue color looks really classy on nails though I wish the staying power could be better. All in all, it is a fantastic nail polish and I would definitely recommend it to everyone!
