I have been suffering from hair fall recently and was looking for shampoos and conditioners that read “Hair Fall Control”. Even though I do not have dandruff but my hair has become weak and more prone to breakage. This is the first time I had tried Pantene product. Today I am going to review Pantene Pro-V Hair Fall Control Conditioner.

Pantene Pro-V Hair Fall Control Conditioner comes in a sturdy, opaque off white plastic bottle with a golden flip top lid. The bottle is smooth and shiny and stands on its lid. The packaging is very light and the bottle can be easily carried around in a bag without any fear of leakage or spillage. The conditioner is white in color with a lovely pleasant scent. 

The texture of the conditioner is soft, smooth and silky with slightly thick consistency. I take a coin sized amount of conditioner and apply it to the length of my hair after shampooing. I prevent myself from applying conditioner to the roots of hair to avoid any greasiness (I have oily scalp!). It gets spread easily and coats all my hair well. The smell is mild and pleasant and won’t bother sensitive noses. I leave the conditioner for about 2-3 minutes to get the most benefit out of it before rinsing. It is easily rinsed away without leaving any residue behind. My hair feels soft, smooth, silky and manageable. 

The scent lingers with me for quite a few hours. The ends of my hair which are prone to dryness also feel soft and tangle free. I really love the way it imparts softness and shine to my hair. Since I apply the conditioner only on the lengths of the hair, I am not sure if it makes hair greasy or weighs them down when applied onto the roots. I have been using it for a month and to be perfectly honest I really cannot see any difference or control in hair fall so I feel it does not work as per the claims. It works like any other normal conditioner in making the hair soft, smooth and manageable.

• Does not control hair fall.

Overall Thoughts:

Overall Pantene Pro V Hair Fall Control Conditioner is just like any other normal conditioner I have used. It makes hair soft, smooth and silky. It imparts a lovely shine to my hair but does not control hair fall which is really disappointing. If you are looking for a good normal conditioner, I would definitely recommend it to you!
