Exfoliation is a must have for me. Not it only it removes dead cells but also polishes the skin making it look brighter and healthier. After finishing my favorite Palmolive Thermal Spa Mineral Massage Shower Gel (Read my review HERE). As it was not available in the store I went, I ordered this exfoliating soap from Sattvik Organics online with other stuffs. Today I am going to review Sattvik Organics Orange Scrub Exfoliating Soap.

Sattvik Organics Orange Scrub Exfoliating Soap comes in an orange cardboard box packaging with all the information printed over it. The actual product comes sealed in a clear plastic wrapper. As soon as the plastic is unwrapped, you are greeted with a lovely and mild scent of the soap. The scent is a mix of orange and some other ingredients. The soap is orange in color and has orange grains that the brand says are orange seeds.

The soap feels really smooth to the touch which actually surprised me. With first usage, it feels smooth and glides easily across the skin with slight exfoliation. But with second usage, I can feel the grains that exfoliate my skin well. The grains are all present in the bar rather than on the surface. I simply massage the soap bar on my body skin in circular motions. The grains are really abrasive and feel scratchy on my skin though not painful. It does its exfoliation job really well. The scent does not tend to intensify and gives a lovely feeling. The soap produces rich lather and removes all dirt and grime off my skin. It rinses away easily and does not leave greasy or sticky residue behind. I was a bit skeptical if it would make my skin dry due to its abrasive particles but boy I was so wrong! My skin feels soft, smooth and clean. It makes my skin look polished and healthy. I have normal body skin and I do not feel the need to moisturize my skin though I have the habit of applying it anyways. It does not dry out the skin due to the presence of saffron, olive oil and almond oil in it. I do not exfoliate my skin every day so I use this soap once a week for a smooth and polished skin. I love using it on my heels, elbows, knees and ankles. It exfoliates really well and makes them smooth. The lovely fragrance fades away as soon as the soap is rinsed away and does not tend to linger on the skin. It does not bother me as I am not a fan of highly fragranced products. The soap does not turn soggy or messy in the soap dish which is an added bonus. I have not faced any adverse effects whilst using it.

CONS:

• The exfoliating grains are abrasive so might not suit people with sensitive skin.

Overall Thoughts:

Overall I liked Sattvik Organics Orange Scrub Exfoliating Soap a lot for its exfoliation part. It leaves my skin soft, smooth and polished. It removes all dead skin cells effectively without drying out my skin. The grains feel scratchy though not painful but I love the results they deliver. The scent of the soap is mild and pleasant. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!
