Lip balm is the most essential item on my vanity table. Though I have not dry lips but I have the habit of applying lip balm at least three times a day. Burt’s Bees is a well known US brand for its awesome lip balms and other skincare products. Today I am going to review Burt’s Bees Revitalizing Lip Balm with Blueberry and Dark Chocolate which is 100% natural.

Burt’s Bees Revitalizing Lip Balm comes sealed in a cardboard packaging to ensure that it has not been used or opened. The actual product comes sealed in a retractable yellow tube with a blue pull off lid. The tube is incredibly pretty and stands out among other products on my vanity table. It is functional and easy to use. The lid is quite tight and clicks conveniently without any fear of being opened in the bag. At the bottom of the tube, there is a round texture ring which needs to be twisted to reveal the lip balm. It can also be twisted back to put the lip balm back down in the tube. I got for myself the ‘Revitalizing’ flavor which is a clear lip balm and has got the gorgeous delicate fruity scent. I am actually addicted to its smell and keep sniffing the product each time I use it. The scent is a mix of blueberries and chocolate and smells amazing.

I feel I got my lip balm with gloopy texture as you can see from the bullet in the pictures below. I have googled it and found the bullet is pretty good just like any other lip balms. The lip balm is soft and smooth in texture with creamy consistency. It spreads and applies smoothly on lips without feeling heavy, greasy or waxy. It does not release clumps and feels smooth on the lips. My lips feel protected and moisturized the moment I apply it on my lips. The lip balm doesn't sit on the surface of the lips but sinks in comfortably. It makes my lips feel soft, supple and nourished instantly without leaving a sticky residue behind. It gives a nice sheen to my lips making them look pretty and fantastic. It lasts for quite a long time on my lips but I have the habit of reapplying it anyway. It doesn't have a weird taste unlike other lip balms. I love the yummy and delicious scent whilst application that fades after few minutes. It heals and repairs dry and chapped lips within a week of continuous usage.

The lip balm is incredibly moisturizing due to the presence of Blueberry Seed Oil and Cocoa Powder that are known for their anti oxidant properties. Cocoa seed butter conditions your lips making them soft and smooth. The lip balm is 100% natural! It leaves my lips soft and smooth especially at this time of the year when my lips get really dry and chapped due to less intake of water. I also love using it as a base for lipsticks with dry texture.

Overall Thoughts:

Overall I am pretty much happy with Burt’s Bees Revitalizing Lip Balm with Blueberry and Dark Chocolate. It makes my lips soft, smooth and moisturized for a long time. It prevents lips from drying and does not feel waxy or greasy. I got bit disappointed when I saw the bullet of the lip balm but when I used it I was impressed by the results it delivers. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!
