I love trying different face washes and just cannot stick to one. Though my skin is super weird but it handles different face washes I use and does not break me out. After trying Omved Skin Mask (Read my review HERE), I was really happy with the results it delivered and I was sure this face wash would not disappoint me. Omved is an Indian brand known for its organic skincare products that does not contain parabens, sulphates or other nasties. Today I am going to review Omved Moisturising Face Wash.

Omved Moisturising Face Wash comes in a sturdy, dark brown colored plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The whole bottle comes sealed in a thin plastic to ensure that the face wash has not been opened or used. The pump dispenser is like any other hand wash. You need to twist the pump for it to go up and you just need to press it to dispense the right amount of product.  The packaging is light but since it does not have any lid I fear carrying it with me in my bag. The face wash is light yellow in color with a strong scent of lavender. Though the scent is strong but it is quite soothing and relaxing.

The texture of the face wash is soft and smooth with gel consistency. I pump small amount of face wash for both face and neck and it creates a decent amount of lather that feels really soft and nice on the skin. It gives a nice and fresh feeling to my skin. It washes away really quickly and does not leave greasy or sticky residue behind. My skin feels fresh, soft, smooth and thoroughly cleansed without any tightness. It removes dirt, oil and non waterproof makeup effectively but fails in removing waterproof makeup. The wonderful smell of lavender lingers with me for quite some time. It gives me a feeling of thorough cleansing with an amazing aroma after a long, tired working day. It instantly refreshes up my senses. As I have oily skin, I do not feel the need to moisturize my skin as it has moisturizing effects that keeps my skin soft and nourished even if I do not use a moisturizer. It contains salicylic acid that prevents my skin from breaking out. If you have dry skin then you will love it as it really pampers the skin. I have not faced any adverse effects whilst using it. It contains lavender oil and oils of clary sage that keeps skin moisturized and healthy. It is 100% safe and gentle for daily use. It would be my staple product in winters when I have really dry and dull skin.

CONS:

• A bit pricey.

• Might not be travel friendly as it does not have a lid.

Overall Thoughts:

Overall I am pretty happy with Omved Moisturising Face Cleanser. It not only makes my skin super soft and smooth but keeps it thoroughly cleansed. It is free from parabens, sulphates, perfumes and other nasties and would suit even sensitive skin. It has wonderful scent of lavender and instantly refreshes up my senses. I would HIGHLY recommend it to dry skinned beauties.
