I have a strong disliking for face washes that are loaded with harmful chemicals and makes my oily, acne prone and sensitive skin dry and rough. Though I am not suffering from acne after medical treatment but I do get one or two occasionally. I was searching for a good mild face wash for daily use that could take care of pH balance of the skin and Salcura came on the right time. Salcura is a UK skin therapy brand that is focused on products for people with problematic or normal skin who are looking to make their skin clear and healthy. As I have acne prone skin, I have been sent the whole Antiac range and Salcura Antiac Daily Face Wash is one of them. Today I am going to review Salcura Antiac Daily Face Wash.

Salcura Antiac Daily Face Wash comes in a white cardboard box packaging with all the information printed over it. The actual product comes in a soft, squeezable white plastic tube with a semi opaque flip top lid. The packaging is fairly simply yet soothing to look at. The lid of the tube is quite secure and would not pop open on its own. The face wash is light orange in color with an amazing soothing scent. Though I could not recognize the scent but it is pretty delightful.

The texture of the face wash is soft and smooth with gel like consistency. I take a generous amount of face wash for both face and neck and it creates a good amount of lather that feels really soft and nice on the skin. Though it does not provide rich lather but it does give me the feeling of deep cleansing. It washes away really quickly and does not leave greasy or sticky residue behind. My skin feels fresh, smooth and thoroughly cleansed without any tightness. It removes dirt, oil and non waterproof makeup effectively but could not remove waterproof makeup though the company does not claim to do so. The lovely smell does not linger with me and fades away as soon as it is rinsed off. It does not tighten my skin as it contains natural oils, vitamins, minerals and naturally derived preservatives and I do not feel the need to moisturize my face immediately. It does help in preventing and reducing pimples after few days of continuous usage and keeps the skin clean and fresh. I have not faced any pimple or acne (the most horrendous one- cystic acne!) since the time I am using it. It also helps in reducing the redness or blemishes caused by pimples. 

It contains Sea Buckthorn Oil that is a star ingredient that reduces inflammation, calms and soothes skin. It is totally free from parabens, steroids, antibiotics, hormones, lanolin, cortisones, soaps, phthalates and peroxides. I have not faced any adverse effects whilst using it. Though the price is on higher side but it works effectively and I feel it is a must have if you are suffering from pimple, cystic acne, blackheads, whiteheads or blemishes. I am using it in conjunction with other products from Antiac range- Antiac Liquid spray, Antiac Gel Serum and Antiac wipes (Reviews coming soon!).

Overall Thoughts:

Overall I am super satisfied with Salcura Antiac Daily Face Wash and it has become my HG face wash. Not only it reduces my blemishes but keeps acne and pimples at bay. My skin feels so clear, smooth, healthy and radiant. It works like a charm when used in conjunction with other Salcura Antiac range. If you are suffering from pimples, acne or have any other skin problem then I would highly recommend this natural, chemical free face wash to you!
