Lotus Herbals Purestay range is totally a hit for me. I have tried few products from this range and all came out pretty awesome. I have a huge liking for lip glosses and this time instead of going for lighter shades I chose this beautiful brick red color with orange undertones. Today I am going to review Lotus Herbals Purestay Lip Gloss in Rose Bud.

Rose Bud is a gorgeous brick red color with a hint of orange in it. It does not have any shimmers or glitters which I really appreciate. It has superb pigmentation and gives full coverage in just a single swipe. For a more dramatic look, you can layer it up with few more swipes. If you have pigmented lips then this lip gloss is for you. The lip gloss gives a nice glossy finish to my lips without making me look over the top. It does not bleed or smudge due to its thicker consistency.

The longevity of the lip gloss is awesome too. It stays put on my lips for a good 4-5 hours with light meals and drinks. With heavy meals, it fades away completely just like other lip glosses. It feels a bit sticky after it starts wearing off but does not feel oh so uncomfortable. If I apply it over lipstick it stays for more than 5-6 hours without reapplication.  It is not very sticky and my hair does not get stuck when the breeze blows. Rose Bud would look fabulous on all skin tones and I love how it instantly brightens up my face. It would complement well with smokey eye looks. It has become my favorite lip gloss and I love wearing it with traditional dresses.

Overall Thoughts:

Overall Lotus Herbals Purestay Rose Bud Lip Gloss has become my favorite lip gloss and gets full points from me. It is a gorgeous brick red color with good pigmentation and staying power. It is not sticky unlike other lip glosses. It does not smudge or bleed due to its thicker consistency. I would HIGHLY recommend it to everyone!
