I have a huge crush on black nail polishes. It can never go wrong and makes nails look glam and pretty. I was planning to buy L’Oreal black nail polish but when I saw the price tag I instantly ordered this black nail polish from Maybelline. Today I am going to review Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish in Blackout.

Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish comes in a sturdy, round glass bottle with a black screw top lid. The brush is of fairly good size and the bristles of the nail polish are soft. It applies smoothly and easily without brushing along the skin. The shade name and number are mentioned at the top of the bottle. The lid is glossy and allows comfortable grip while application. The packaging looks glamorous and elegant.

The formula of the nail paint is pretty good. It is neither very thick nor very thin. It applies smoothly over the nails without being streaky. The nail polish delivers true and vibrant color in two coats. It dries really quickly in few minutes and I do not need to waste my time sitting idle. The longevity of the nail polish is good. It lasts on my nails for about 4-5 days without chipping. If you apply a top coat then it might last for a week. The color does not dull down even after 5 days which is really impressive. The nail polish gives glossy and shiny finish to my nails. It is easy to remove and does not stain my nails despite being a dark shade.

Blackout is a gorgeous true dark black color with a beautiful and smooth finish. It does not contain any shimmers or glitters. It delivers a beautiful shine to my nails. It glows when you stand under the sun or lights. It would look flattering on all skin tones. It makes my hands look fairer and beautiful. If you are into nail art then you must buy it as it is really a true black color. It is one of the best black nail paints I own. Overall I am really happy with Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish in Blackout. It is the true black color with no shimmers or glitters. It applies smoothly without streaking and comes opaque with just two strokes. It stays fresh on my nails for a long time with minute chipping. I would highly recommend it to everyone!
