Though I belong to neutral shades department but once in a while when I am really in very good mood, I never fail to pick a glamorous color. Silver is one such color that I use only in the inner corner of my eyes but boy you can create many stunning looks using it. I had Elle 18 Eye Sparklers Silver Spark (Review HERE) that I left at my cousin’s place so I got Revlon Colorstay One Stroke Defining Eyeliner Sensuous Silver this time. Today I am going to review Revlon Colorstay One Stroke Defining Eyeliner in Sensuous Silver.

Revlon Colorstay One Stroke Defining Eyeliner is a silver lacquered plastic pencil with the same colored plastic lid. The lid of the cap is quite tight and can be securely carried around in a makeup bag. The liner was tapered to a neatly sharpened tip when brand new. It enables a comfortable and easy grip unlike few other pencils. The color of the pencil is same as that of shade that allows easy identification of the shade in case you hoard many.

The formula of the eye liner is soft, smooth and creamy. It applies smoothly due to its soft and velvety consistency. It glides easily across the upper and lower lash line without dragging or pulling the skin. It creates a flawless and true line of color in a single swipe. To get a more intense look, I apply a little pressure and swipe it twice. It allows me to define my eyes effortlessly and apply a flick to the outer corners. It sets into a water proof and smudge-proof finish after application. The staying power is pretty awesome. It stays put on my slightly oily lids for the majority of the day. Due to its creamy texture, the tapered tip wears down rather quickly and I need to sharpen the pencil after using it 3-4 times. It doesn't cause any adverse effects on my skin. The liner can be easily removed using olive oil or an eye makeup remover.

Sensuous Silver is a gorgeous silver color with a metallic finish. It contains fine and subtle silver shimmers which are visible only when light reflects. The shimmer stays intact and doesn't tend to fall out. The liner looks fantastic with both soft and smoky looks. It instantly brightens up my eyes and looks quite subtle and wearable. It can be used as an eye shadow base or in the inner corner of the eyes. I love using it with grey eye liner on lower lash line. You can see the eye looks using silver eyeliner below. I have applied silver eyeliner on the inner half lower lash line and grey liner on the outer half. It looks absolutely stunning and stunning on eyes. It would look flattering on fair to medium skin tones.

It has superb staying power and does not smudge or budge on my eyes. Sensuous Silver is a true silver color with metallic finish and I love sporting it with grey liner. I would happily recommend it to everyone!
