Khadi Handmade Soaps Review
I had never got a chance to try Khadi products but when I did I was super impressed with how gentle and effective they are. Khadi is an Indian skincare brand that focuses on providing natural products to its consumers. Today I am going to review Khadi Handmade Soaps. The variants I have are Geranium Soap with Olive Oil and Aloe with Haldi Chandan.
Net wt: 125g
Khadi says-
Envelop yourself in the luxurious aromas of Khadi natural and handmade soaps made with love from pure glycerin and essential oils. The Khadi Shop presents a dedicated collection of bathing bars in many flavours with a mild formulation that is suitable for all skin types.
MBT says-
Khadi soaps come wrapped in a soft and smooth plastic wrapper with all the information printed on stickers. As soon as the soap is unwrapped, you are greeted with lovely, mild and soothing scent of essential oils. Geranium soap with essential oil has prominent scent of geranium which is very refreshing. Aloe with Haldi Chandan has mild and soothing mixed scent of sandalwood and other essential oils. Geranium Soap with Olive Oil and Aloe with Haldi Chandan are of red and light yellow color respectively.
As Khadi Soap is glycerin based soap, it looks somewhat translucent. I always use a body sponge or scrunchie when bathing and a small amount of soap is needed to create a rich lather. The scent does not tend to intensify and feels nice and refreshing. It gets easily rinsed away and does not leave greasy or sticky residue behind. It feels mild and gentle on the skin. It does not dry out the skin unlike other soaps and would suit all skin types including very dry skin. It removes all dirt and grime off the skin. It leaves my skin feeling fresh, clean, smooth and moisturized. Although it does not make my skin dry and rough but I have the habit of applying body butters anyways. The lovely fragrance tends to linger with me for a good few hours. It is very mild and does not bother me as I am not a fan of highly fragranced products. It contains glycerin and other useful essential oils that keep the skin moisturized and hydrated in this cold weather.
The soap does not turn soggy or messy in the soap dish which is an added bonus. Though it is glycerin based soap, it tends to last long unlike other soaps. I have not faced any adverse effects whilst using this soap.
