Himalaya Herbals Kajal Review & Swatches
Though I have been blogging for a long time but I was surprised to see only one kajal review on MBT. I have always been an ardent fan of kajal. I look sick if I head out of my home without kajal. I have been using Faces Kajal and Maybelline Colossal kajal and was in search of herbal kajal. When I saw Himalaya Kajal in a small pack, I instantly grabbed it. Today I am going to review Himalaya Herbals Kajal.

Himalaya Herbals Kajal comes sealed in a blister type cardboard packaging. The actual product comes in a light, green lipstick type packaging with a pull off lid. The lid snaps shut easily and can be easily carried around in a makeup bag.
The texture of the kajal is very soft, smooth and creamy. It applies smoothly on my waterline without dragging or scratching my skin. It glides easily across the waterline without smudging, budging or applying pressure. The pigmentation of the kajal is superb. It is one of the jet black kajal I have ever used (next to Faces Kajal!). It gives jet black color in 2 swipes and adds dramatic effect to my eyes. However the staying power is pretty low. It stays put on my lids for only 2-3 hours after that it starts fading and smudging. Though it smudges but does not accumulate at the inner corner of my eyes. But if you have watery eyes then there are chances that the kajal may accumulate at the corners. Due to its jet black color it makes my eyes look much fresher and awake especially when I am tired. When I don’t sleep very well, this kajal because of its jet black color makes my tired eyes look bright and bigger.
The kajal doesn’t cause any adverse effects to my eyes as it contains all herbal ingredients like almond oil, castor oil, triphala and camphor. It would suit sensitive eyes as well since it does not contain lead. It contains almond oil which is known to promote eye lash growth but I haven’t seen any changes in my lash growth. It is easy to remove the kajal with a good makeup remover and you won’t wake up with raccoon eyes.
