Despite being a huge makeup junkie, I prefer lip glosses over lipsticks. Juice Beauty is an organic makeup brand that has wide range of makeup products with beautiful shades. I had already reviewed Juice Beauty Illuminating Eye Color here on my blog. It is one of the best neutral eye colors I have tried. Today I am going to review Juice Beauty Reflecting Lip Gloss in Fig.

Juice Beauty Reflecting Lip Gloss comes in a smooth white cardboard box packaging with all the information written over it. The actual product comes in a sturdy, frosted plastic tube with a silver screw top lid. As soon as the lid is opened, you will see a soft doe foot applicator wand that picks the right amount of gloss. The packaging is quite light and can be easily carried around in a makeup bag. The scent of the lip gloss is hardly noticeable which I liked as I am not fond of fragranced products. It has no taste.

The formula of the lip gloss is perfect. It has gel like consistency and is not very gloopy. The applicator wand picks the right amount of product but I usually go for a bit sheer application so I wipe it once onto the mouth of the tube. The lip gloss glides smoothly onto my lips without smudging or bleeding. It applies easily around the edges of the lips too. It has sheer to medium pigmentation and can be layered as desired. If you have pigmented lips you might need layers to get a good coverage. I love using it as a sheer lip gloss with my casual outfits at daytime. The lip gloss gives a nice shiny and glossy finish to my lips that looks perfect party lips.

I often apply this lip gloss on its own and it stays for only 2-3 hours and vanishes away completely with even light meals and few drinks with no tint behind except for light shimmers which are hardly noticeable. It does feel sticky after it starts wearing off unlike other lip glosses. If I apply it over lipstick it stays for more than 3-4 hours without reapplication and makes my lipstick stand out more and shinier. 

The lip gloss feels comfortable on my lips and is not heavy or sticky. My hair does get stuck on the lips when the breeze blows but not in a horrible way as it is not sticky. My lips do not feel dry when I remove lip gloss at the end of the day due to presence of certified organic ingredients like antioxidant rich acai and goji berries. It also contains various oils that make lips soft and smooth.

Fig is a gorgeous neutral brown shade with a glossy and shiny finish. It contains very fine golden shimmers that do not look over the top. I love using this shade on its own during day time and over the lipstick at night time. It makes my lips look pretty and instantly brightens up my face. It is all organic and non toxic lip gloss that contains certified organic ingredients.

Overall Thoughts:

Juice Beauty Reflecting Lip Gloss in Fig is a lovely glossy and shiny organic lip gloss that looks pretty on its own or over a lipstick. It contains certified organic ingredients that make lips soft and moisturized. The pigmentation is sheer to medium and can be layered as desired. It would have been the best lip gloss if it had good lasting power. All the shades are very pretty and elegant. I would recommend it to you if you love glossy lip glosses.
