I bought all the Maybelline Glitter Mania shades. This is the fabulous range and is worth investing. I had already reviewed Starry Nights, Matinee Mauve, Pink Champagne, Dazzling Diva, All That Glitters and Bling on the Blue. Today I am going to review Maybelline Color Show Glitter Mania Nail Polish in Red Carpet.

Red Carpet is a cool red color with pink undertones. It has lots of golden and pink glitters infused in it. The golden glitters look more obvious in the bottle but are hardly visible on nails. As I am not a huge fan of pink nail polishes, this shade is my least favorite among all. It looks more beautiful in the bottle than on nails. If you are fond of pinkish red shades then this shade is for you. The shimmers make the color all the more pretty and create a beautiful textured effect. It provides a lovely textured finish and is a girlie color. It is a perfect shade for day time and night parties and would look flattering on all skin tones. It is quite pigmented and gives true color in two coats. It lasts on my nails for a week without chipping. I absolutely love its textured finish that is the USP of this nail polish!

• I wish the shade was pure red with no hints of pink.

Overall Thoughts:

Maybelline Color Show Glitter Mania Nail Polish in Red Carpet is glittery cool red color with pink undertones. It is not pure red which disappointed me a bit. I wish it looked on the nails same as that in the bottle. If you are fond of pinkish red shades then I would definitely recommend it to you.
