I have always been fond of natural products. Though the results are not instant but they do leave visible results behind. I had tried many products from Naturally Upper Canada and yes there were few hits and misses. I had already reviewed their lip balm, lip butter, hand and body lotion and body butter (their hand lotions and body butters are worth trying!). Today I am going to review Naturally Upper Canada Body Butter Balm which is a unique product in itself.

Naturally Upper Canada Body Butter Balm comes in a white and purple cardboard box packaging with all the information printed over it. The actual product comes in a dark purple stick with a white pull off lid. You just need to twist the stick (like lipstick!) to reveal the body butter balm. The body butter balm is off white in color with a refreshing scent of mint.

The texture of the body butter is quite hard with thick consistency. I was a bit disappointed when I looked at the texture but to my surprise it worked really well. As soon as I applied it over my elbows, I noticed it released small clumps. But before judging this product let me make a point clear to you. I was recently being told by a natural skincare brand that the clumps are due to the absence of chemicals, additives or binders that change the texture of the body butter smooth and clump free. I really do not mind using natural body butter with small clumps rather than slathering chemicals on my body. I particularly use this body butter balm on my dry parts like elbows, knees, knuckles, cuticles and heels. It glides easily across the skin and gets absorbed into the skin within few minutes. The peppermint scent remains subtle and makes me feel fresh the moment I apply it. It heals dry and chapped skin and keeps it soft, smooth and hydrated the whole day. It can be also be used on cracked heels, to tame hair, moisturize lips and many more. I love carrying it with me while traveling. It is 100% natural and is a versatile product. I have not faced any adverse effects whilst using it.

Overall Thoughts:

Naturally Upper Canada Body Butter Balm is very handy while traveling. I love gliding it over my elbows, knees, hands, cuticles and heels. It keeps them soft, smooth and hydrated without leaving a greasy residue behind. It is 100% natural and that is the major reason it releases clumps. All in all it is a wonderful product and I would definitely recommend it to everyone!
