I suffer from dry and itchy scalp aka dandruff every winter season. Though I always use Himalaya Anti Dandruff Hair Oil to treat dandruff but it does not provide enough nourishment to my dry ends. Auravedic Scalp Relief Hair Oil comes in a clear plastic bottle with a golden screw top lid. The packaging itself comes sealed in a plastic wrapper to ensure that the product has not been opened or used. It is quite light and can be easily carried around in a bag without any fear of leakage or spillage. As soon as the lid is opened, you will find a plastic stopper that prevents spillage of oil. I made a small hole in the stopper to get the oil dropwise. The hair oil is yellow-ish green in color and the scent is mild and very pleasant. 

The consistency of the hair oil is perfect. It is neither very thick nor very runny. It is quite light and does not feel heavy or greasy. Instead of warming it up, I apply it directly onto my scalp and hair. I then massage it gently using my fingers and leave it overnight to get utmost results out of it. The scent does not tend to intensify and remains mild. I feel it penetrates the hair shaft and not just coat the hair. The hair oil is easy to rinse and does not leave my hair greasy or limp. My hair feels soft, very smooth, shiny, healthy and manageable with the first few uses. With continues usage for few weeks, my hair fall stopped drastically (I lose 3-4 strands each time I comb my hair!) leaving my dry ends soft and hydrated. It also helps in reducing dandruff and gives relief to dry, itchy scalp. It is great hair oil for people with dry hair. It is herbal hair oil and can be used daily. It nourishes my hair really well, reduces hair fall, dry scalp and imparts a healthy shine to it. It is free of parabens, SLS, colors and other harmful chemicals. It contains tea tree oil, grapefruit oil, mulberry oil, amla, neem oil and many other herbal ingredients that are really great in relieving dry, flaky and itchy scalp. It hardens in winters due to the presence of coconut oil in it.

Auravedic Scalp Relief Hair Oil is the BEST hair oil for dry hair or to treat dry and itchy scalp. It does what it claims. It makes my hair soft, smooth, shiny and manageable. The scent is very soothing and instantly makes me feel good. It is free from parabens, colors, SLS and harmful chemicals.
