If you are a regular reader of my blog, you would know how much I raved about the brand Auravedic. I had tried Auravedic Skin Lightening Bridal Mask (reviewed HERE) and Scalp Relief Oil (reviewed HERE). Both the products are natural and super effective. I have recommended them to many people and they were pretty happy with the results. Today I am going to review Auravedic Skin Lightening Oil which is the lightest and effective oil I have used.

Auravedic Skin Lightening Oil comes in a clear plastic bottle with a golden screw top lid. It comes sealed in a plastic wrapper to ensure that it has not been opened or used. As soon as the lid is unscrewed, you will find a plastic stopper that prevents oil from leakage. I made a small hole in it to dispense the oil drop wise. The lid is quite tight and the bottle can be safely carried around while traveling. The oil is light yellow in color with a lovely mild fragrance that is really soothing to the senses. It makes me feel good when I feel tensed. It contains few strands of saffron that is known for brightening the skin.

The oil has oil like consistency but it is not thick and greasy. I was really skeptical to try it out but boy I was amazed by its results. I simply take 2-3 drops of oil for my face and neck and apply it on my skin in circular motions. It spreads easily over my skin and gets absorbed almost instantly. It sinks into the skin fully and does not just sit on the surface thus doing an awesome job of pampering the skin. It feels extremely light on my oily skin without giving me greasy or heavy feeling. It does not clog my pores and does not cause any breakouts. My skin feels super soft to the touch, smooth and moisturized. I use this oil at night as a bedtime treatment and I wake up with a soft, even and radiant skin. The visual effects are seen after few weeks of regular usage. I do not feel the need to follow it up with a moisturizer as it is quite moisturizing and nourishing to my skin. My skin looks more healthy and clearer since the time I am using this oil. If you are suffering from pigmentation, spots, uneven skin tones or discoloration then you are going to love it a lot. It contains saffron, turmeric and winter cherry that lighten the skin and make it more even and healthy. My skin feels balanced after using this oil and it has helped to stop any excess oils from being produced (though my T-zone always get oily not overly so in the morning!). 

I have been suffering from mild acne and this serum lightens the redness and does not aggravate or irritate them. I love using natural and organic skincare products and Auravedic Skin Lightening Oil is one such natural and effective product that keeps my skin in great condition without adding any chemicals in my body. It gives me a feeling of using luxurious product at such an affordable price tag.
