I got Revlon Photoready Kajal along with Revlon Photoready BB Cream (review), Revlon Perfecting Primer (review) and Revlon Photoready Airbrush Foundation (review). I particularly bought it for the purpose of using it as kajal on my waterline. Here is my review on Revlon Photoready Kajal Intense Eyeliner+Brightener.

Revlon Photoready Kajal Intense Eyeliner+Brightener come in a blister type packaging with all the information written over it. It is a two sided eye liner with dark color at one end and the brightener at the other. I got Carbon Cleopatra for myself and it has jet black color as darker shade and cream color as brightener. The caps of the eye liner are same as that of the shades so it will easy for you to identify the shade in case you hoard many from this range. The lids of the liners are quite tight and can be securely carried around in a makeup bag. The liners were tapered to a neatly sharpened tip when brand new. They enable a comfortable and easy grip unlike few other pencils. The shade name is written at the middle of the pencil.

The formula of the eye liner and brightener is soft, smooth and creamy (though not overly!). It applies smoothly due to its soft and smooth consistency. It glides easily across the waterline, upper and lower lash line without dragging or pulling the skin. It creates a flawless and true line of color in just two swipes. To get a more intense look, I apply a little pressure and swipe it few more times. It allows me to define my eyes effortlessly and apply a flick to the outer corners when it is sharpened. It sets into a smudge-proof finish after application on upper lash line but tends to accumulate at the inner corner of my eyes when applied on waterline. I have not faced any smudging on my waterline as I do not have watery eyes. The staying power is pretty decent. It stays put on my slightly oily lids for a good 6-7 hours while on my waterline it stays for about 4-5 hours without fading or smudging. Due to its creamy texture, the tapered tip wears down rather quickly and I need to sharpen the pencil after using it 2-3 times. It doesn't cause any adverse effects on my skin. The liner can be easily removed using olive oil or an eye makeup remover.

How I use Revlon Photoready Kajal Intense Eyeliner+Brightener?
I love creating graphic look using this eye liner whenever I wear black or white outfit. I simply apply the brightener on top of black liner to create a subtle graphic look.
The brightener also looks beautiful on waterline when applied with lighter hands. It also opens up my eyes when used in the inner corners of the eyes. The black liner is quite creamy and it can also be smudged to create a soft smokey look. I simply draw black liner on top lash line till the outer corner. I then apply black liner on half way across the waterline and brightener on the other half till the inner corner. It looks really soft and makes my eyes look bright and alive.

Revlon Photoready Kajal Intense Eyeliner+Brightener in Carbon Cleopatra are indeed one of the best creamy eye liners I have used lately. They are creamy and have great pigmentation. They have decent staying power and look lovely on eyes. Whether you are fond of simple or smokey eye looks, Carbon Cleopatra does all with absolutely no efforts. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
