Garnier Fructis Oil in Cream
If you are a regular reader of my blog you must know I totally liked Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner (reviewed HERE). They have refreshing fragrance and make my hair more manageable. Recently Garnier launched Garnier Fructis Oil in Cream* which is a replacement of hair oil and I was super excited to try it out. It is currently available on Nykaa and is worth Rs 85!

Swatch of Garnier Fructis Oil in Cream
Garnier Fructis Oil in Cream comes in a sturdy, soft, squeezable bright yellow plastic tube with a flip top lid. The packaging is quite bright and stands out among all other products in my bath products shelf. The lid is quite tight and the tube can be easily carried around in a bag without any fear of leakage or spillage. The cream is white in color with a mild yet prominent scent of coconut oil.

The oil in cream can be used as hair oil or as a leave in conditioner. As I have pretty oily scalp with dry ends, I prefer using it as a conditioner. The texture of the cream is rich and creamy with a good consistency. I take a small blob of cream onto my palm and apply it to the length of my hair. It applies easily and spreads effortlessly over my hair. The nice aroma does not tend to intensify during the application. I leave the cream for about 2-3 minutes to get the most benefit out of it before rinsing. It is easily rinsed away without leaving any sticky residue feeling behind. It leaves my hair soft, silky smooth and shiny. My hair feels super silky to the touch. The cream has greatly improved the texture of my hair making them less prone to breakage specially while combing. The scent lingers with me for at least two days. The ends of my hair which are prone to dryness and roughness also feel soft, manageable and tangle free. I am able to brush my hair with great ease with absolutely no tangles. I really love the way it imparts softness and shine to my hair. I feel it is much better and conditioning than Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Strengthening Conditioner. Since it contains alcohols and various other chemicals, I fear using it as hair oil or a overnight treatment.

Garnier Fructis Oil in Hair Cream is a super light cream that contains 3 powerful and effective hair oils- coconut, almond and olive oils. It will suit all hair types and would be a boon for people with dry hair.

PROS:
•    Rich, creamy yet light formula.
•    Contains 3 hair oils in one cream.
•    Makes my dry ends feel super soft, silky and tangle free.
•    Nice fragrance.
•    Does not leave sticky residue behind.
•    Reasonably priced.
•    Suits all hair types including dry and frizzy hair.
•    Reasonably priced.

CONS:
•    Contains alcohols and other chemicals but then mostly all hair products are infused with chemicals.

Overall Thoughts:
I totally loved Garnier Fructis Oil in Cream as a conditioner. It makes my hair super soft, silky and manageable. I loved how soft and silky my hair becomes post usage. It tames frizz and makes hair feel healthy. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to everyone!

Rating: 4.8/5

  1. Hello All,

This is a nice product basically I use post hair wash to groom and style my hair in whatever manner I want.
The product is non sticky as claimed, good fragrance and easily spreads when applied.
I got to know about this product initially by couple of sample pieces from Big Basket as a free trial offer.
