Lip balm has always been an essential item in my handbag. No doubt Himalaya Herbals is a trusted skincare brand and when I read “natural” on this lip balm I immediately grabbed it. Himalaya Herbals Natural Intensive Lip Balm

The lip balm comes sealed in a blister pack with all the information printed over it. It does not contain petroleum, silicones, preservatives or artificial colors. It comes in a lipstick style packaging with a clear pull off plastic lid. You just need to twist it for the bullet to go up and down. 

The lip balm is clear with very mild scent. Though the scent is not nice but it does not give headache. The texture of the lip balm is soft and smooth (though not buttery smooth!). It glides smoothly over my lips without feeling heavy or waxy. It does not have any weird taste which I liked. You only need to apply it lightly and it makes lips soft, smooth and hydrated. I do not have very dry lips but I am sure it will make dry lips soft and moisturized with regular usage. If you have very dry and cracked lips then I don’t think it will help you much! It contains apple seed oil, winter cherry, olive oil, almond oil and honey that make lips soft and supple.

PROS:

• I love tube packaging as it is more hygienic.

• It is NATURAL with no preservations, petroleum, silicones or artificial colors.

• Not tested on animals. 

• Hypoallergenic.

• Inexpensive if compared to other natural lip balms in the market.

• A great bedtime lip treatment.

• Due to its lipstick style packaging, it is easy to apply it directly on lips.

• No weird taste.

CONS:

• Not super moisturizing as per the name!

• Might feel heavy if you apply it too much.

• Slightly weird scent but it is very mild!

• No SPF!

Overall Thoughts:

Though I am not a huge fan of this lip balm but I love the fact that it is natural. I love applying products that are free from chemicals and I use this lip balm every day at bedtime to keep my lips soft and moisturized. I would definitely recommend it to everyone who loves natural products!
