I got many requests from my lovely readers to review the products I got in beauty bags and boxes. From now on, you will see reviews of full sized products I get in beauty boxes (I love you guys *smiles*). I got this Moodmatcher Lipstick in Fab Bag and I was shocked to see the black color! When I read the color changes with body temperature, I was really curious to try it out. It is priced at 590 INR and you can buy online HERE.

Black is the darkest shade among all other shades. Though it looks black in the bullet but it comes out as dark fuchsia color on lips. It looks bright and hot on my lips but if you are not a fan of dark lipsticks then you might not like it. You can choose other lighter shades in the range. I am not fond of dark fuchsia colors so I use it only when I need to glam up myself. I read on few blogs that the color changes with your mood but mine stayed the same throughout the day. It glides smoothly over lips and gives lip stain effect to the lips. Though it is moisturizing but I do feel the need to apply a lip balm before applying this lipstick. It gives even coverage and is easy to apply directly from the bullet. I apply other dark lipsticks with a lip brush but with this lipstick the application is super easy. It does not bleed, smudge or feather. It settles down just like a lip stain. 

The staying power is super amazing. It stays put on my lips for the whole day. Yes WHOLE DAY even with heavy meals and drinking though I do feel the need to reapply it on the inner part of the lips (I hope you understand what I mean!). 

Removing the lipstick is a big pain. You really need to use a very effective makeup remover to remove the color. I tried cleansing milks and other makeup remover but the stain remains on my lips. After lots of tricks (read below!) and trying various other removers I was able to remove it completely from my lips. I use it only when I need to travel and I do not have time for reapplication. 

PROS:

• Good formula.

• Does not dry out the lips.

• Pigmentation is great. 

• Stays on my lips the whole day.

• Feels light on lips.

• Comes in wide range of colors.

• Reasonably priced.

CONS:

• Very difficult to remove the lipstick.

• Packaging looks cheap!

Overall Thoughts:

Overall I am quite happy with Fran Wilson Moodmatcher Lipstick. I got the black lipstick which is dark fuchsia. Though I am not fond of such shades but I love using it once in a while when I really want to look glam. It instantly brightens up my face. It has great formula and makes lips soft and moisturized. There are many colors to choose from! I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

My Tips:

• Slather petroleum jelly or lip balm on lips and let it loose on lips for at least few minutes. When the color gets loosened up, exfoliate your lips using lip scrub or remove it using damp cotton pad. If you still feel the stain is on your lips use the makeup remover.

• Moisturize your lips prior to lipstick application.
