Blue Heaven Artisto Liquid Sindoor Red Review

Blue Heaven Sindoor

If you are an Indian Hindu, you would know the importance of wearing chooda and sindoor after marriage. Though I am not a fan of wearing chooda and sindoor but I had to at my in-law’s place. I prefer wearing maroon sindoor as opposed to red one so I was kind of disappointed to find a red one in the package. I really do not like anything bright on my forehead.

Blue Heaven Artisto Liquid Sindoor* is priced at 60 INR and you can buy online HERE or HERE

Description

Swatch of Blue Heaven Sindoor
The sindoor comes sealed to ensure that it has not been opened or used. The packaging is just like any other lip gloss. It comes in a clear plastic tube with a sponge applicator. The applicator is soft and does not feel harsh on the skin. it picks the right amount of product but I make sure to wipe it out once on the mouth of the tube for minimal application.

Applying sindoor is super easy. You just need to apply small vertical dash on the forehead or where you part your hair. Some girls even do side parting and apply sindoor in the middle. I do not have a picture of mine wearing sindoor but for your reference I have inserted a picture below:
Kareena wearing sindoor
The sindoor is highly pigmented and gives true color in a single swipe. It stays on my oily skin for the whole day without bleeding or smudging. I am not sure if it is waterproof but I have not seen it budging even if I wash my face wearing it. It has matte finish and is great for everyday use.

The sindoor comes in 2 color- red and maroon. I am fond of maroon color but for the sake of testing I used it for a good 7-8 times. The color of the sindoor is not red but reddish orange. It is more inclined towards orange than red. Personally I do not like sindoori or orange-y color in my sindoor!

The sindoor comes off easily with any makeup remover.

PROS:
Easy to apply!
The applicator feels soft and nice on the skin.
Rich pigmentation.
Good staying powder.
Comes in 2 colors.
Matte finish.
Inexpensive!
No scent.
Dries quickly.
No skin irritation.

CONS:
The red shade is more inclined towards orange!

Overall Thoughts:
Overall Blue Heaven Artisto Liquid Sindoor is a budget friendly sindoor with rich pigmentation. It has smooth texture and matte finish that is great for everyday wear. Though I am not fond of red color but I do look forward to try maroon shade in future! I would recommend you if you love sindoori or orange-y sindoor!

Rating: 4.5/5

What brand of sindoor do you use?

Stay pretty!
