Inveda Cleansing Oil Review |
I had always been scared of using cleansing oils on my acne prone skin but after using the Province Apothecary Moisturizing Cleanser & Makeup Remover, I am absolutely in love with cleansing oils. If you ever get a chance to lay your hands on Province Apothecary Cleansing Oil then do try it (it is super amazing!). I was glad when I got to know Inveda stocks cleansing oil. Inveda Cleansing Oil* costs Rs 695 and you can BUY ONLINE from Inveda website!

Inveda Cleansing Oil Review |
Inveda Cleansing Oil is slightly thick oil with lovely, aromatic fragrance. When I tried it for the first time, I was literally feeling so relaxed! I simply took 2-3 pumps of cleansing oil on my palms and massaged it onto my dry face. Make sure you massage your face gently. After a few minutes, I simply wet my fingers and massaged it thoroughly into my skin. It removes my light, non-waterproof makeup easily. I have this habit of reading the ingredient list before trying out any product but I was so excited to try it that I tried it anyway! After going through the ingredients list, I was shocked to see olive oil in it. Olive oil is comedogenic and may break out acne prone skin! Fortunately, this cleansing oil did not break out my skin but I then thought of using it as an eye makeup remover! It totally failed in removing my non-waterproof makeup and above that blurred out my vision. It stings eyes badly so it is definitely not something that can be used on the eyes! The packaging is also not practical. My bottle leaked during transit! I wish they had come up with packaging like Blue Nectar i.e. a lid, stopper and a pump dispenser!
I am sure it will work great for people with normal to dry skin as it makes skin so soft and bright post wash! If you live in Hyderabad and nearby to Kondapur then I would happily pass it to you as the packaging would not allow me to courier it!
PROS:
- The bottle is clear that allows you to see how much product is left!
- Pump dispenser dispenses the right amount of oil!
- Lightweight and non-greasy!
- 2-3 pumps are enough for the whole face!
- Skin feels soft, moisturized and bright post usage!
- Removes non-waterproof makeup easily!
- No breakouts!
- Paraben free!
- Paraben free!
CONS:
- The packaging is not practical!
- Does not remove eye makeup easily!
- Stings eyes badly.
- Not for acne prone skin as it contains olive oil!
- Pricey!
Overall Thoughts:
As Inveda Cleansing Oil is not for my skin type, I may not be the best person to review it. I tried it once and I loved how soft and hydrated my skin looks. It removes all dirt, oil and makeup off the skin without irritation. I would definitely recommend it to people with normal to dry skin!
Rating: 3.5/5
My Tips:
- Wipe off the oil using a damp cotton!
- After wiping it off, use a facial cleanser to get rid off of oil!
Have you tried the cleansing oil?
Stay pretty!
