As the winter season is approaching, my skin is geared towards dryness! I no longer face oiliness despite traveling for hours in the sun! Recently Lakme launched Lakme 9to5 CC Color Transform Cream* that is great for everyday wear! I have been using it for more than 2 weeks and here is my take on Lakme 9to5 CC Color Transform Cream! It costs Rs 325 for 30g and you can BUY ONLINE at a lower price on Amazon!

Lakme 9to5 CC Color Transform Cream comes housed in glossy pink cardboard box packaging with all the information printed on it! The actual product comes in a beige squeezable tube with a golden screw top lid. The tube is quite sleek and can be easily toted along in the bag!
Lakme 9to5 CC Color Transform Cream comes in 2 shades- beige and bronze! Both the shades look same in the swatches but look quite different when used on the face! Beige is for fair to medium skin tones and bronze is for medium to dark skin tones! Beige is perfect for my fair skin tone and instantly brightens up my skin. Bronze, on the other hand, was oxidized after few hours and made my skin look a bit darker! So it is advisable to choose the shade accordingly!
I apply Lakme 9to5 CC Color Transform Cream after cleansing, toning and moisturizing my face. Moisturizing your face is purely optional but I prefer to have smooth canvas before applying any makeup product! I simply apply a small amount of CC cream all over my face and blend it with my fingers. It blends in quickly but like the brand says this color changing cream starts like a fairness cream and finishes like makeup, you will notice a bit of whitish layer on your skin in the beginning. The white layer vanishes away within few seconds and gives you a smooth, hydrated and glowy finish. It does not conceal blemishes but gives a smooth appearance to the skin making you look fresh and radiant!
PROS:
- Travel-friendly packaging! The tube is easy to carry!
- Lightens redness and minor blemishes on the skin!
- Gives brightening effect to the skin!
- No white cast!
- Moisturizing!
- No breakouts!
- Evens out the skin tone!
- Suits all skin types except super oily skin!
CONS:
- You need to use a concealer if you have major blemishes!
- The shade Bronze oxidized on my skin tone!
Overall Thoughts:
Overall, I am happy with the finish the Lakme 9to5 CC Color Transform Cream gives to my skin. It evens out my skin tone and makes it look fresh, bright and dewy! These days I am loving natural dewy looks and this cream helped me in achieving it! I would highly recommend it to everyone!

- Best applied with clean fingers and blend well!
- If you have dry skin then moisturize your skin before proceeding!
- Use a separate concealer to conceal your major blemishes!
- Less is more with this cream!
