It's been a long time since I tried any Lakmé foundation. The only reason was Lakmé foundations oxidize and made me look dull and dark at the end of the day! This fall Lakmé launched the Absolute Illuminate range with ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee! Lakmé’s new line of Illuminate make up includes the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Foundation, 4 new metallic shades of the Lakmé Absolute Shine Line and a spectacular, Sabyasachi Collection that includes the Lakmé Absolute Sun-Kissed Bronzer, Lakmé Absolute Moon-Lit Highlighter and Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Shimmer Bricks. The Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Foundation is a perfect combination of foundation and highlighter. If you are a fan of dewy looks then you will surely love this foundation. It comes in 4 shades and I got the 'Natural Flare' which is perfect for fair to medium skin tones. The shades are perfect for Indian skin tones!
The foundation comes in an elegant black pump packaging that looks really pretty on my vanity! It dispenses the right amount of foundation. I need only one pump for both face and neck. Always remember less is more when it comes to foundation! Though it can be applied using a finger or any foundation brush but I love the finish it gives using Real Techniques Stippling Brush. It gives even coverage and imparts a gorgeous glow to my skin. My skin literally brightens up whenever I use this foundation. It looks absolutely natural and gives an inner glow like look! It does not contain shimmers or glitters that I am totally grateful for! I have acne scars on my skin and any kind of shimmers or glitters look horrible on me but this foundation does its job perfectly!

- Suits all skin types! It does not cause me breakouts!

- Long staying power! I have oily, combination skin and my skin stayed fresh the whole day!
- Perfect combination of highlighter and foundation!
CONS:
- Pricey for the quantity!
Overall Thoughts:
Lakme Absolute Illuminating Foundation has become my favorite foundation. My skin tends to get drier in winter season and I love how soft, moisturized and glow-y my skin looks after using this foundation. I would highly recommend it to everyone! It's not only great for party wear but for the festive season as well!

My Tips:
- Best applied with a foundation brush like Real Techniques Stippling Brush!
- Always moisturize your face prior to foundation application.
- If you have very oily skin, set with a powder!
- A little goes a long way!

My skin breakouts like hell after using any foundation..might give it a try though in future as it sounds pretty good... :)
