The packaging of the the eye shadow palette is very elegant with a golden and black combination! Midnight Rose is a mix of both light and dark shades and would look beautiful on Indian skin tones! It contains 2 metallic colors and 2 shimmer-y eye shadows!

The first color is a sparkly black which has medium to build-able pigmentation and can be used on its own for soft smoke-y eye looks! It looks really pretty on eyes and I sometimes apply it over the mid section of my eye lids over the matte black eye shadow for that glamorous smoke-y look!

The second shade is shimmer-y champagne pink color that looks extremely beautiful when used on the mid section of the eye lids! It complements well with almost all dark eye shadows! It is less pigmented and need layers to show up!

The third shade is a warm copper pink color with metallic finsh! It has soft texture and applies easily over the eye lids! It can also be applied over on the crease!

The last shade is metallic silver grey color that looks very adorable when paired with black eye shadow! It is quite pigmented and applies smoothly over the lids!

How do I use it?
Well you can use it in many ways! You need to be creative to create multiple looks with a single palette! I usually apply black eye shadow all over my lids, Using a blending brush, I then apply the copper pink color on the crease area! Using a flat eye shadow brush, I then apply the champagne eye shadow over the mid section of the eye lids! Lastly, I apply the silver eye shadow on the outer area of the lower line! Finish it off with a black eyeliner and a mascara!

PROS:
- Travel friendly and beautiful packaging!
- The shades will suit Indian skin tones!
- The textures of the eye shadows are soft and smooth!
- Perfect for night time makeup!
- Medium to build-able pigmentation!
- Stays on my slightly oily lids for 3-4 hours without primer!
- The sponge applicator is of good quality!
- Worth the price for the 4 eye shadows!
- The mirror is of good quality!

CONS:
- The champagne color tends to fall out a bit whilst application. It has lots of shimmers but believe me it is the prettiest shade of all!

Overall Thoughts:
L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Les Ombres Eyeshadow Palette in Midnight Rose is a perfect palette if you love dark yet soft eye looks! I absolutely love the combination of colors it has! I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Rating: 4.8/5

My Tips:
- All the eye shadows fade without primer on oily lids so make sure you use the eye shadow primer!
- The eye shadows can be applied wet or dry!
- You can use the black color as an eye liner too!

Have you tried L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Les Ombres Eyeshadow Palette? Which shade is your favorite?

Stay pretty!

  1. Wow, gorgeous product, I am so happy I follow your blog on GFC because this way I keep in touch with the new entries in the world of make up. I have a few pallettes of this brand, this precise palette I haven't seen it yet in Italy, probably will arrive soon. I have to say that I don't use the sponge applicator but a UD brush because it applies better.
    Thank for this perfect presentation.
    Greetings,
    Flo

    1. Hi Flo even i don't use these sponge applicators! I loved sigma sweeper brushes! They apply eye shadows so well!
