The packaging of the eye shadow palette is very elegant and attractive! It is sleek yet sturdy and can be easily carried around in a bag whilst traveling! There is also a mirror and dual ended brush that is of good quality and very convenient when you travel!
The eye shadow palette comes in 2 colors- Royal Persia and French Rose! I have Royal Persia that has the shades of plum, blue and green! It has 6 shades that are well pigmented and gives true color in a few swipes! The texture of the eye shadows is soft and smooth and blend easily! The staying power is good too! It lasts for a good 4-5 hours on my slightly oily lids but it can last longer if you apply an eye shadow primer!
The shades in the Royal Persia are:
1. Teal green
2. Dark Purple
3. Black-ish blue
4. Plum
5. Bright pink
6. Shimmer-y beige
The shades are wearable and suit Indian skin tones very well!
PROS:
- Attractive and travel friendly palette!
- Good pigmentation.
- Variety of colors in a single palette!
- No fall outs!
- Good staying power!
- If you love playing with colors, this is the palette for you!
- Comes with a mirror and sponge applicator!
- The shades are not OTT and look good when you create the eye looks with the color of the outfits!
CONS:
- Pricey!
Overall thoughts:
Overall I loved everything about Lakme Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette! Though I do not use this palette often but I love playing with colors on my casual weekends outings! They are well pigmented and lasts long on eyes! If you are into neutrals then you must check out French Rose!
Rating: 4.8/5
My Tips:
- If you have oily lids, use the eye primer before eye shadow application!
